TRENTON TIMES ALL-AREA BOYS BASKETBALL

Marcus Floyd, Trenton Catholic, Sr.

Point guard for the BCSL Liberty and Mercer County Tournament champion. Floyd dominated the post-season, as he scored 14 or more points in five of his last six games for the 22-5 Iron Mikes.

Myron Gordon, Bordentown, Jr.

Averaged 22.6 points for the 24-6 Scotties, as they made it to the Central Jersey, Group 2 title game. Gordon led Burlington County in scoring, with 17 games of 20-plus points and five of 30 or more.

Tyler Jones, Pennington, Jr.

Point guard for the Prep B state champion. Jones filled the stat box all year, averaging 14.4 points, 7.3 assists, and 2.8 steals per game for the 14-9 Red Raiders.

Trey Lowe, Ewing, Sr.

With 2,446 career points, Lowe leaves Ewing as the second-highest scoring boys player in Mercer Count history. He scored 24.9 points per game or the Central Jersey, Group 3 and CVC Patriot champion, with 27 games of 20-plus points and six 30-plus games for the Blue Devils.

Myles Powell, Trenton Catholic, Jr.

The Mercer County Tournament MVP, Powell averaged 17.1 points for the Iron Mikes. He was at his best in the big games, especially the county showdown with Ewing, where Powell scored 29 to lead all scorers.

Malachi Richardson, Trenton Catholic, Sr.

McDonald's All-America, Gatorade New Jersey Player of the Year and Trenton Times Player of the Year ends his high school career as the most honored player in the history of Mercer County. Three Mercer County Tournament titles, one state, one T of C title, and one MVP of the T of C award, as a sophomore at Roselle Catholic.

Tyleer Wrenn, Hamilton West, Sr.

Wrenn led the 24-6 Hornets to a CVC Valley Division title and a trip to the Central Jersey, Group 3 title game. He averaged 18.8 points per game at the point for Hamilton, and had 17 games of 20-plus points.

James Wright, Ewing, Sr.

Second on the team in scoring behind Lowe, Wright averaged 15.2 points for the Blue Devils. Had a big postseason, averaging nearly 20 points, while scoring his 1,000th point.
