Less than an hour passed after Georgetown's humiliating tournament loss to 14th-seeded Ohio before Hoyas center Greg Monroe said he would return for his junior season.

The 6-foot-11 sophomore averaged 16 points and 9.5 rebounds this season and is a projected first-round pick should he enter the NBA draft.

"I'm ready to go back and see how I can help my team next year," he said.

Georgetown coach John Thompson III isn't convinced.

"You know, I think that he's going to sit and make that decision as time goes on right here," he said.
