Syracuse basketball recruit Malachi Richardson was held scoreless in the McDonald's All-American Game on Wednesday at the United Center in Chicago.

Richardson, a shooting guard from Trenton Catholic (N.J.), came off the bench for the West squad and missed all six of his shots, including five 3-pointers, in 14 minutes.

Richardson's only highlight play was a pretty steal and assist to Stephen Zimmerman for a dunk over Huntington Prep (W. Va.) center Thomas Bryant.

Bryant, a Syracuse recruiting target, had nine points on 4-for-5 shooting and three rebounds for the East in 16 minutes off the bench.

The East won 111-91 in the high school all-star game.
