Kansas continues to bolster future with addition of Cal transfer Charlie Moore

Already loaded with top-notch talent via transfers, Kansas has added another game-changer to its arsenal to make the future look even brighter in Lawrence.

California point guard Charlie Moore, perhaps the nation's best remaining transfer, has committed to the Jayhawks to be closer to his family and ailing father.

Moore joins Memphis transfers Dedric and K.J. Lawson, with all three sitting out next season and not eligible until 2018-19 due to NCAA transfer regulations. Moore averaged 12.2 points and 3.5 assists a game for the Bears in 2016-17.

Kansas, projected No. 5 in USA TODAY Sports 2017-18 preseason rankings, now features six of its 13 scholarship players having started their careers at a different school. Mississippi State transfer Malik Newman is expected to make a big splash next season.
