VIDEO: Is J.J. Caldwell the nation's best prep passer? You be the judge

Is J.J. Caldwell the nation’s best prep passer? I kinda think J.J. Caldwell is the nation’s best prep passer.

I challenge any high school player to put together a better 2:15 of Rajon Rondo-esque dishes than the one Ballislife South just posted on Caldwell, because I’d sure like to see it if it’s out there. I mean, seriously.

If not for his 5-foot-11 frame, Caldwell might be even higher than he already is on the national rankings. Signed to Texas A&M, Caldwell averaged 13.9 points, 7.6 assists, 6.5 rebounds and 2.6 steals per game for Cypress Woods (Texas) as a junior in 2014-15. This season, he’s playing for Houston, Texas-based homeschool program SATCH Basketball, and from the looks of it, he’s doing quite all right for himself.
