Who do you got? Devin Carter or Jared McCain?

Both guards are undersized. Carter slightly more. Do you go with the better player now? That’s Devin Carter. Do you go with the better long time prospect? Imo that’s McCain. For me give me McCain. He’s an older freshman, but only has a year of college under his belt and was the best player and prospect on a good team doing so. It took Carter a while to get where he is, and McCain his first year. McCain also was much better as the year went on. I like both of their floors, and don’t think either will completely bust like many other uncertain prospects in this draft. But I have to admit I’m a little bias here, I’ve been higher than the consensus on McCain most of this process.
I couldn’t fault the scout that falls for the motor and defensive hunger of Carter though – it’s real.
