Dillon Jones vs Ryan Dunn

We have 2 forwards in today’s NBA standards squaring off here in his vs battle… who you got..?
Dillon Jones, the forward with undeniable small college production? I mean he did it all though, filling out the stat sheets. Biggest knock is his consistency from long range. Or do you go with Ryan Dunn, the stocks king of this draft… but the draw back with him is his ability to play any offence whatsoever. His ability to shoot/pass/dribble is atrocious. Plenty of upside here though, elite athlete with good tools and as said elite defense. I can see the appeal for both in ways and neither in ways. I’m going Dillon Jones here. I think he makes it as a bully wing/forward that can make plays. I suspect if his usage goes down a little his percentages will go up. He does everything else pretty well. He proved he can hold his own at the combine last year against good competition. I think he can be like a 6th-8th guy in the rotation. I’m not sold Dunn cracks the rotation, although it’s not impossible. Give me Dillon Jones.

I’d take Dillon Jones over Ryan easily. I don’t know if Ryan gets drafted but I’d have Dillon as a solid 2nd round pick probably in 31 to 40 range.

I’m not high on Ryan Dunn either, but the consensus has had him as a mid to late first round pick for 2 months. Atm Ryan Dunn is 29th on the consensus (lowest I’ve seen him) while Dillon Jones is 43rd. I’m with you though, I’d take Dillon Jones easily.

If you are the New Orleans Pelicans and Fred Vinson can teach him to shoot, you take Dunn top 10. Pretty much everyone else would be better off with Jones.
