I like Tari Eason here. Big fan of Murray as well but I feel like Eason has been slept on all year. He is going to be an elite two way player. Murray maybe further along in his offensive development but Eason just has tools you cannot teach with his 7’2 wingspan and largest hands in the draft.

Toss up to me depends if you prefer Murray’s multi dimensional scoring or Eason’s defensive versatility I like them both.

Better prospect huh? That is a tough one. I like Keegan Murray, but just by a little. I would say Eason is a better value from where he’s getting drafted if he pans out.

True, Eason in range 12-16th is safe choice. He has great potential as a role player. He is not good creator or faciliator, but he won’t be asked to do much of that, just needs to keep improving his shoot. His defence would be elite from day 1. As I mentioned in previous topic, I would like Grizzlies to trade up for him, but also Hornets and Hawks would be great fit.

I think 5-6th range is too high for Keegan Murray, but there is not much better/safer options and teams in that range needs PF.

Eason may have better defence but I think Murray is more NBA ready and is the better scorer. Similar sized guys both sophs so it’s not like one is bigger and younger but unproven. I that Eason will be late lottery but Murray will be in 6 to 9 range as I couldn’t see Spurs passing on him if he was still there at 9.

I like Eason here as well. Keegan Murray looks slow, especially laterally, while Eason’s athleticism is evident. I think this will be a much bigger factor in the NBA. I. also think Eason could emerge as on of the best players in this draft class.
