Who’s the better prospect?

I have Daniel Dyson here. Mike Schmitz of ESPN and former Draft Express scout says Dyson is now 6’8 with a 6’11 wingspan and should be a top 10 pick. He projects as a defensive playmaker that can guard multiple positions and a floor general offensively that can make good decisions as your primary or secondary ballhandler.

Not to slight TyTy Washington at all. I think it was NorrinRadd who had to remind me how well he played before a minor injury created a major setback for his season and Kentucky in general. Its also hard to really standout playing in Calipari’s Chest Offense, it’s funny because you would think he would be better off recruiting guards that are projected to stay longer than the One and Done talents. I think he will really thrive in the NBA.

Despite that Dyson is my pick. The league just seems to be trending more to size and length/defensive versatility. More positions you can guard less liabilities your team has defensively. In theory your pretty comfortable with switching Dyson onto most starting Centers whereas with Washington and 95% of the leagues guards you are not. Creates a unique advantage.

This is a very tough one… I have them in the same tier. Really for me this one is what’s the better need. I looked at a reliable consensus that has Daniel at 11 and TyTy at 13. In a vacuum, I guess I’d take Daniel as he fits for a little more teams’ needs imo.

Dyson Daniels for sure. A playmaker with defensive versatility is the name of the game at this point.
