    Who’s the better prospect?

I have to go with Cam Thomas on this one. I like Kispert. Alot. I’m pretty much convinced he’s gonna average 40% from three right off the bat and continue to improve. He’s a very solid complimentary piece. Theres shades of Klay Thompson here. But I see Cam as a 1st option. I do think his skillset is being underrated. This isn’t a guy who scored his points because of size or athletic advantages at a lower level. He’s scoring because of skill. He has the complete perimeter package for a scorer. This will translate at the pro level, in fact in the NBA he will probably be more deadly. So the question is what are you looking for? Joe Harris or Jordan Clarkson? Klay Thompson or Bradley Beal? Thomas is 20 in October while Kispert turned 22 in March.

Thought I’d also add I noticed its usually the same few people commenting in these vs. threads. I get it, predictions are usually wrong. Its a good way to make yourself look dumb is to go with your gut and share that with a forum. That being said even if you don’t want to say who you think will be the better prospect feel free to discuss the players highlighted in each topic. These threads are meant to create open discussions for each player leading up to the draft.

Another very close one, but I will give slight edge to Cam Thomas because he is a more versatile scorer.

Imo, it’s Cam Thomas… and it’s actually not close to me. But that’s coming from someone who thinks Kispert, a 3 PT SPECIALTY player is one of the top 3 most overrated players in the draft. Cam Thomas will get you points, as he is a versatile scorer like said. Kispert to me can handle the rock just good enough to not blow it and can shoot an open 3 all day. Kispert, coming off of his senior year might get a little better. Not guaranteed and less likely than a youthful pick in Thomas getting better.

I think kispert definitely gets drafted higher. He has a skill that is in high demand and a defined role in the league.
With Thomas, it’s a little more difficult to project his impact. Guys who can create shots and score are always needed, but will he be able to do so efficiently at the next level? And will he be able to develop some of the other parts of his game? And if not, is he talented enough to make a career of being a volume scorer?
