11 - Rocco Zikarsky

NBA Comparison: Mark Eaton / Luc Longley
Strengths: Massive frame with rare dimensions … Measured 7’3″ barefoot with a 9’6.5″ standing reach and 7’4.75″ wingspan at the NBA Draft Combine … Uses size well around the rim on lobs, dump-offs, and putback dunks … Averaged 1.6 offensive rebounds in just 11.8 minutes per game, showing nose for the ball and solid positioning … Left-handed shooter who has flashed some shooting potential, even knocking down a few three-pointers … Mechanics aren’t broken and could be developed with time … Solid touch on short-range finishes … Shows some coordination and fluidity for his size, not overly stiff … Comfortable running the floor in straight lines and moves adequately for a player of his height … Displays rim protection instincts with 0.6 blocks per game in limited minutes … Anticipation improving and alters shots even when not blocking them … Hard worker who has embraced his role and seems to understand his strengths … Could become an effective drop-coverage big if development continues … Youth and size combination makes him a fascinating long-term investment.
Weaknesses: Very much a long-term project at this stage … Limited offensive skill set outside of finishing simple plays … Not a reliable post scorer and doesn’t have a developed back-to-the-basket game … Free throw shooting sits at just 57.1%, showing need for improvement in touch and repetition … Three-point shot is theoretical more than functional at this point, going 20% on low volume … Mobility is a concern, as he lacks lateral quickness and is a bit of a plodder … Can struggle in space and may be targeted in pick-and-roll situations at the next level … Not an explosive leaper and relies more on timing and length than vertical pop … Needs to improve defensive discipline and anticipation to fully leverage his rim protection tools … Fouls at a relatively high rate, averaging 1.2 fouls in under 12 minutes … Has dealt with lower body injuries including ankle and knee issues in back-to-back seasons … Knee injury ended his second season early with Brisbane … Conditioning and strength still a work in progress … Needs time and patience in a development program to round out his skill set and body.
Outlook: A true project big man with massive physical tools and flashes of value on both ends … Averaged 4.6 points, 3.4 rebounds, and 0.6 blocks while shooting 52.4% from the field in 11.8 minutes per game for Brisbane in the 2024–25 NBL season … Participated in the 2025 NBA Draft Combine and kept his name in the draft … Viewed as a potential mid-second round pick for a team willing to take the long view … Will need G League time and physical development, but upside as a rim protector and finisher makes him worth the gamble … If he can stay healthy, improve his footwork and conditioning, and develop into a reliable rotation piece, he could become a valuable long-term asset.
Notes: Measured 7’3.00″ barefoot, 257.0 lbs, with a 7’4.75″ wingspan and 9’6.50″ standing reach at the 2025 NBA Draft Combine … Posted a 27.5″ no-step vertical and 31.5″ max vertical … Played for Brisbane in Australia’s NBL during the 2024–25 season.
