Gerald Wallace

NBA Comparison: Dominique Wilkens Strengths: Unbelievable leaping ability…. Very agile and explosive…. Great motor. Will not be outhustled…. Has a good jumpshot. Offensive game has great potential… Has the potential to be a superstar on the next level. Weaknesses: Ball Handling skills need some improvement…. Outside shot needs more consistency…. Has alot of raw talent that must be harnessed to it’s maximum ability. — Stayed at home to Roll with the Tide for.. well at least one year. This cat will be successful because of his amazing work ethic.

Raul Lopez

NBA Comparison: Jason Williams Strengths: Has phenominal quickness, enough to play in NBA, but not right now. He must wait at least 2 or 3 years, improving his offense, and if when he becomes a dominant PG in Europe, then go to the NBA. Has good basketball IQ. His defense is improving this year, which is very important to his potential for going to the NBA. He has the best vision, driving, and passing skills in the Spanish League.

Jeryl Sasser

NBA Comparison: Doug Christie Strengths: Has point guard skills at 6-6. Very good handle, vision, passing ability. Nice athlete with good potential due to his athleticism and ball skills. A perfect complement to a team with a short offguard (Iverson, Terry). Averaged over 8 rebounds per game, and a 2 to 1 assist to turnover ratio. Weaknesses: Shot selection and shooting percentage hurt him. Has a nice offensive game but must become a better decision maker. Jump shot needs improvement. Shot under 40% from the field and under 30 % from 3 point.

Joseph Forte

NBA Comparison: Hersey Hawkins Strengths: Mentally strong. Dynamite offensive player. Great touch. Super confidence at a young age. Could develop into a top notch scorer. Weaknesses: A little undersized at the 2 position in the pros. Must get a lot stronger. Must get quicker and learn to set his own shots up off the dribble.

brandon-haywood-hd3.jpg

Brendan Haywood

NBA Comparison: Michael Olowokandi Strengths: Great strength…. Can be the most dominant player on the floor (in college) virtually anytime he puts his mind to it… Unstoppable close to the basket… Weaknesses: Questionable desire… Doesn’t always play with intensity… Must show more consistency and heart… Must improve his offensive arcenal, with more post moves and range… Doesn’t have great hands… Shoots as poorly as Shaq from the charity stripe..

zach-randolph-hd.jpg

Zach Randolph

NBA Comparison: Elton Brand Strengths: Great combination of strength and agility. Moves his 270 pound frame like a small forward… Supreme intelligence and creativity… Very strong physically and mentally… Soft hands.. Leadership qualities.. Weaknesses: Appears overweight but it doesn’t really seem to be a problem… Not super away from the basket, but who’s keeping this guy away from the basket?

jason-collins-hd.jpg

Jason Collins

NBA Comparison: Marc Jackson Strengths: Tough player with good touch inside…. Thrives on contact…. Can spot up for college 3’s…. Both Collins twins are fierce competitors… Weaknesses: Quickness…. Doesn’t run the floor very well, and lateral quickness is not very good…. Better condition could help quickness….

Michael Bradley

NBA Comparison: Tom Gugliotta Strengths: Has very good offensive skills. Great feel for the game. Excellent size for the PF position. Fundamentally sound, crafty player who uses his strength well. Can get out and run the floor. Shoots well from the field, can hit the college 3 if open. Weaknesses: Not phenomally athletic, but very good. Needs more upper body strength. Not exceptionally fast. Not great off the dribble.

Troy Murphy

NBA Comparison: Dan Issel Strengths: A warrior. Very strong mentally. Has good upper body strength. Leads by example, and is strongly motivated. Mid range jumpshot is his bread and butter. Very crafty with the ball in his hands, using head fakes and position. Has range out to college 3. Very good passing big man. Rebounds well. Weaknesses: Not a great run jump athlete. Isn’t going to dazzle the crowd with windmill dunks but plays within himself. Not extremely quick or fast.

richard-jefferson-hd2.jpg

Richard Jefferson

NBA Comparison: Tim Thomas Strengths: World class athlete with great strength. Defense is his greatest asset. Potential is very intriguing despite his current skll level due to the fact that he was a post player in high school. He is still getting a feel for the perimeter after three years at Arizona on the wing.

kedrick-brown-hd.jpg

Kedrick Brown

NBA Comparison: Jerome Kersey Strengths: At 9 rebounds and 3 assists per game, his stats indicate he is more of a banger than a ball handler. It’s possible this was what his team needed but 6-7 PF’s are common in juco ball. Has some versitility.

joe-johnson-hd.jpg

Joe Johnson

NBA Comparison: Penny Hardaway Strengths: Only a given few have the ball skills that Johnson possesses at 6-9. Penny Hardaway (6-7), Lamar Odom, and Magic Johnson come to mind. Has very good vision and passing skills. Great intangibles. Has that certain feel for the game that the great ones have, knows where to be, what to do. Great shot, handle, passing, vision, confidence. Weaknesses: Must get stronger, learn the game. Entering just his sophomore season, Johnson still has alot of basketball to learn. Must stay aggressive.

rodney-white-hd.jpg

Rodney White

NBA Comparison: Glenn Robinson Strengths: Versatile forward with both a post and perimeter game….. Has very good potential…… A 6-10 player with the ability to put the ball on the floor, create off the dribble, and knock down jumpshots with range.
