NBA Comparison: N/A

Cristian Biagini – 10/13/2004

Strengths: One of Europe’s hidden talents, despite having played at last years Chicago Predraft camp … Has a very bright future, with the NBA squarely in his sights … He is constantly working hard on his game and plays mature beyond his years…. He plays from the 3 to the 1 position and can be a playmaker, depending on what the situation calls for … He is very tall and has a good physical structure, but lacks great strength … He has good leaping ability which has improved since he has added strength … On offense he can do a little of everything, and does a good job of taking what the defense gives him … With good vision, he is no nonsense with the ball, making the right pass over the spectacular one … He has good instincts for the game, and can create some for teammates off the dribble… His 3 point shot is very effective …

Weaknesses: He is not very quick, so defending and creating open shots in the NBA will take some work … He is very versitile but lacks a true role… His first step is not super, but he knows how to use fakes and change of speed/direction well … He can be prone to gambling for steals on defense … He can be too enamored with the dribble drive, when sometimes using his great 3 point stroke would be more beneficial … Does not have a great windspan at just 6-7 …

Notes: Measured 6’6.5” without shoes 6′ 7.75” with shoes and a 6′ 7” wingspan at the Chicago Predraft Camp in the summer of 2004.
