ChicagoCaseyParticipantThis is the 10 most underrated prospects that’s eligible for the 2016 NBA Draft that I believe are too low on this sites 2016 Draft (http://www.nbadraft.net/2016mock_draft), 2017 Draft (http://www.nbadraft.net/2017mock_draft), and ESPN Chad Ford 2016 Big Board (insider.espn.go.com/nba/draft/mock/).
In no particular order…
- Isaac Copeland – I see him breaking out this year after having to take a backseat role last season. He is a good 3 point shooter for his size (39%)
- Daniel Hamilton – He have outstanding size for the wing position (6’7"). He is prime to break out next year with the absent of Ryan Boatright.
- Devin Robinson – Have great size for a small forward (6’8") and been compared to a mixure of previous Gators in Chandler Parsons, Corey Brewer, and Mike Miller
- Xavier Ratham-Mays – Have great size for the point guard (6’4") and he can really score the ball. He needs to work on his passing abilities next year.
- Kyle Wiltjer – I don’t believe he will be a first round pick, but he have a great skill set for a player his size (6’10" 238 pounds @ the Nike Skills Academy). He shot near 47% from downtown last year and he can play in the post.
- Ron Baker – He was one of the better US players @ the Pan Am games in Canada. He have great size for the point and he have great feel for the game.
- James Blackmon – He’s probably the best shooter in the country and if he prove he’s a point guard than his stock should wise.
- Jack Layman – Great size (6’9") for his position, have, good athlete, and good shooter (37%)
- Chase Jeter – He’s 6’10" 240 with great touch for a player his size. He’s very crafty in the post, he’s pretty young for this class (17), got the best jump hook I’ve seen at this age, and can draw plenty of fouls. Suprise he’s not considered a lottery pick in this year draft.
- Perry Dozier – He’s 6’6" 185 pounds point guard that have a nice drive and kick game, he can hit spot up jump shots, and is a good enough NBA level athlete. I’m shock that he’s not in consideration on of the top point guards in this years draft.

Rip255Good thread…yet forums quieter than Philly home games.
My under rated prospect is Isaac Humphries. I was the first to tell you about Ben Simmons…now Im telling you about Humphries as a future top 5 pick in 2017.
Hes the next Kentucky Bigman and just made it official.
The fact hes no where on the mocks on this draft is bush league scouting.
Hes easily the best big man in his class.

providencefriars1ParticipantReally like Rathan Mayes. Many people may not know this but last year was his first playing PG and FSU did not have a lot of talent around him. Take last years TO numbers with a grain of salt as long as he improves on them this year. Definite first round prospect.
I think Wiltjer’s stock will come back around and he will end up in the 20’s. He has too much value as a second unit scorer and floor spacer to fall to the 2nd round IMO. I value the 20’s as an ideal spot to get back up PG’s and 2nd unit role guys, so Wiltjer would fit right in here
