Overall:

Strengths: At 6’7 is an undersized post player. Uses his girth to create space and has some length that is ideal for an undersized big. Will finish strong around the basket and on fast breaks. Enjoys creating contact to give him space and angles to score around the rim. Strong offensive and defensive rebounder. In his first full season in the French Pro A level played a consistent role as a sub in limited minutes (11.3 minutes per game). Has good potential as a shot blocker as he averaged 2 per game at the U21 level the season prior and has long arms that get into the passing lane. Shot nearly 73.7% from the field this season scoring primarily around the rim. Shows potential as a post player passer averaging more assists than turnovers in his first pro season.

Weaknesses: Does not shoot the ball well on the perimeter. In his 3 seasons at Pau Orthez (U21 and Pro) he has never shot the ball better than 50% from the free throw line and has been as low as 35%. As an undersized big, some pick and pop ability would be ideal but he hasn’t shown any development as a shooter at this time. Not much of a scorer, even at the U21 level has never averaged over 10 points per game. On the defensive end there are still questions due to his size if he can defend 5s and if he has the foot speed to guard NBA level wings.

Overall he is a role player who has some interesting attributes given the vogue of small ball centers in today’s NBA.

Notes: Participated in the 2023 Eurocamp where he went 9/11 in two games and 0/5 from the free throw line in two games. He sat out the last game of the event.
