 I think Embiid will show flashes and talent but he won’t put up huge numbers or huge minutes this year. I think the most likely scenario is that he will play about the same amount of minutes Whiteside played in 2014-2015 when he is not in foul trouble (which should happen a lot with a big guy coming off two blank seasons) which means 24 minutes max and probably around 20 mpg. Also, with his injury concerns and the necessary playing time for the other two bigs, I think the sixers will adjust his playing time by avoiding back-to-backs or some travels to preserve him. The most logical for them is to have him play between 50 and 65 games only this season to have his body adapt to the league more slowly and avoid injuries.
