CanadianGMParticipantI know it’s a slow basketball time for news but I would totally sign Zoran Dragic with the hopes of picking up his established 3 rd team All NBA brother next year in free agency. Zoran is a 6’5 shooting guard who improved his 3 point shot from 13% to 36% in one year playing professionally in Europe. He is 3 years younger than Goran and might show similar improvement in the NBA but well worth taking a two year flyer on the guy even if it doesn’t produce a pairing with his brother Goran.
Im not making this up either, there really is a Zoran Dragic and would be perfect pick up on a two year, two million guaranteed contract. It might be a little late as he resigned for two more years and would have a small buyout to deal with but perhaps he improves his game a little more and comes to the NBA in two years when he might improve enough to play alongside his brother.

TenSecondTomParticipantHe had a good showing versus team USA and I think he could conceivably be a role player in the NBA. With that being said, there are about 100 European players that could be role players in the NBA, but they choose to play in Europe for various reasons. Also, I don’t think if Zoran made the jump, that would put a team over the edge in a potential Goran Dragić sweepstakes; Gogi seems content in Phoenix as he is aware that they put him in the best position to be successful (Take notes Eric Bledsoe). I certainly would love to see Zoran play in the league though.

ExumInfernoParticipantZoran can really play. If Phoenix didn’t draft a point guard and sign a point guard then they could have another set of brothers, but even if Bledsoe goes they have enough guards. With Goran and Green possibly starting there, and then Thomas and Ennis at point guard so Goran goes to shooting guard, Zoran wouldn’t get any minutes, plus they either keep Bledsoe or get something for him in trade.
The Spurs will need a new guard soon, so maybe they will sign Zoran in the future. Or maybe the Suns will have space to have both Dragic brothers on the roster.
It is a surprise that Zoran isn’t in the NBA, it would seem likely that he does get there soon.

GBeeParticipanthe’s definitely nba caliber. he’s got nba athleticism, he’s tough, can defend, good passer and can slash. isn’t a great shooter, but he’s improved in that area and can even create some shots.
he wants to play in the nba too, so i’m sure his desire to play there is reflected in his extension (negotiable buyout). i think he’ll be there after this season.

ExumInfernoParticipantThere is a story about Indiana and other teams after Zoran.
The Pacers were said to be trying to trade for his brother, plus with George hurt and Lance S gone they will want to try a few new players and lineups this season.
