MVP- Blake Griffin- the game almost looks easy to him… scoring and rebounding at a tremendous rate in all of his games… was the focal point against the Wiz and still managed to pull a good stat line

    MIP Anthony Randolph-

    MDP- Hasheem Thabeet-

    MSP- Chase Budinger

    ROY- Blake Griffin

MVP-anthony randolph just dominated in alot of aspects of the game..unlike in the regular season i have to base my vote on offense and defense in which randolph looked very well doing both
MIP-adam morrison-considering he was a nonfactor before the injury during his second year he looks like he will really be able to contribute this year
MDP-Jerred bayless/holiday- i expected him to play better as a point guard in the summer league since hes trying to be the future starter but hes still looking more like a shooting guard that can handle the ball(second holiday but hes pretty much played like i knew he would)
MSP- dajuan summers..always knew he had the tools but when hes forced to be the man he shys away. In this setting he showed when he can sometimes lead and compliment he showed his potenial
ROY-i dont particularly think he will be the best rookie but he will have the chance to put up the better stats then the rest because of how much more opportunities he will have

Jerred bayless? how was he the biggest dissapointment when guy like hasheem walk the earth? mot to mention holiday who was once refered to as a dwayne wade by this site

bayless can score becoming a point doesnt happen over a year but he showed he could set ppl up but him being the best player and tryring to set u sg and sf that wont make the nba didnt work at all dante, pooh, and jeff were the only players going hard and really in the mix of things bayless could have dropped 30 again but would that hve shown progress he took a differnt approach and ppl knock him for it….

the most surprising was Rodrique Beaboius/pooh jeter

    MVP – Anthony Randolph… 26.8 PTS, 61% FG, 8.5 REBS, 2.2 STLS and 3 BLKS

MIP – George Hill, because he only shot 8% last summer lol.

MDP – Hasheem Thabeet and Jru Holiday

MSP – There were A LOT of candidates, but I’m going with Austin Daye and DeJuan Summers from Detroit

    ROY – Blake Griffin

the stats say it all. 17 assists to 25 turnovers. that sounds like he’s setting up fans in the first row bleachers more than his teammates. portland doesn’t need another scorer. they need someone to backup steve blake. if bayless can’t play point in the summer league, good luck in the regular season.

    MVP: anthony randolph (just dominant)
MIP: anthony randolph (great development really making something out of his talent)
MDP: jrue holiday (not really disapponing because i never was high on him but he showed why)
MSP: austin daye (not brilliant but much better that expected)
ROY: blake griffin (will be the most consistend rookie next year and get enogh playing time to show it)

    and RUDEBOY:

how on earth do you think blake griffin will make the all star team? i mean he may be good and is the best candidate for ROY but All Star? honestly: in the west you have: Aldridge, Gasol, Duncan, Dirk, David West, Boozer, Amare and Jefferson as potential All-Star PF´s. until blake doesn´t put up 25 and 12 this year you can´t blame anyone for not nominating him!

exactly..its not like people are saying bayless is a bad player but he is expected to be the pg in the not so distant future and he doesnt look any better then he did last year as far as being a pg..im not sure he looks better this year as a scorer also…i wasnt to suprised with thbeet because of how centers dont particularly strive in a enviorment like this and how raw he is.

MVP- Anthony Randolph/Anthony Morrow- These warriors have put up a scoring clinic in the summer league.

MIP- Anthony Randolph- Has improved so much from last year.

    MSP- Anthony Morrow(Did anyone expect a 47 point game?)/Rodrigue Beaubois(Although I expected him to be a good player)Dajuan Summers

    MDP- Hasheem Thabeet- No comment.

ROY- Steph Curry(Will likely start in the backcourt with Ellis and could average around 20 ppg)

As for most surprising, I read that Dante Cunningham played very well. I wasn’t able to catch a TBlazers game, but many execs seemed to be very impressed with his ability, especially his shooting. Now, to find him a position… (3 or 4?)

but we already knew hasheem thabeet would lay like this. i mean wat did yall expect 4 him 2 be avergain a double double? he wsnt even ll that at uconn!! he was drafted jus 4 need thats it. the most dissapointing by far is jrue holiday. he literally did nothing against poor competition. i mean he played in the worst summer league……………..and did nuthing!!!

    MVP: Blake Griffin
    MIP: Javale Mcgee
MDP: Thabeet: he has Desagana Diop written all over him…
MSP: Nik-Caner Medley: played good and had a decent array of skills
    ROY: Blake Griffin
Summer Hall of Fame Induction: Andray Blatche: He’s been in Sl for five years and is probably the career scoring leader or something… lol no one probably keeps those stats anyway.

GREAT POST…NJnetskidd’s CHOICES ARE RIGHT ON THE MONEY…I felt if Randolph

    Jennings will surprise
    alot of people
    ..He plays alot like I
    verson..The Bu
    cks got
    a steal…
    He’s
going to challenge Griffin for rookie of the year
