Just for fun…if you can compare your own skill level to an NBA player (NBA comparison), who would you compare yourself too?

I would compare myself to Stephen Curry.

I can play both guard positions. Im an underrated passer who has a nice dribbling skill. I am known to be a 3-point shooter. Im developing my off the dribble jumpshot. On the defensive end, I can be a defensive liablity. Im not a TERRIBLE defender, but im not the greatest either. babyface assassin.

Who would you compare yourself too? Please be realistic.

     A better Hedo Turkoglu.

I’m tall, I’m a really good shooter, my defence isn’t that great, I can play all positions but C and my armspan is really long. I am not that fast, not that muscular BUT I do give my all whenever I play basketball.

100% capable ambidextrous passer, right handed shot. Usually lead a run and gun offense, I don’t shoot 3 pointers at a high % but I do shoot free throws at a high %, rebound at a above average rate for a guard. Decent on defense but not a liability.

High school stats 14 ppg around 9 assists and 5 or 6 rebounds (jesus I’m old)

    So Jason Kidd I guess?

Shaq minus 8 or 9 inches in height

    minus 140-160 pounds

    minus the bald head

minus the ability to dunk every time i get the ball down low

but i shoot about 6% or 7% better from the freethrow line and can play pretty decent on ball d even on the perimeter

A mix between Ron Artest and Bruce Bowen-I’m a great defender not as good a shooter from the three like Bowen but have the ability to drive to the basket pretty good not a headcase like Ron though and i have a better bball iq than Ron.

Probably Rajon Rondo; not a huge scorer but can when needed and like to make a statement with D. Also completely lacking a 3 point shot haha.

Ray Allen/ JJ Redick a 3 point shooter who loves shooting off-screens. I would like to become more of a Stephen Curry/ Darren Collison player though i am very undersized for the 2.

i would say for me its jason kidd, its hard to really say that but here is why, im a point guard, good rebounder, very good passer, capable on d, and can spot up and make it when open. im not a great ball handler anymore tho. i dont turn it over but im not crossing anybody over anytime soon.

A 6’2” Theo Ratliff, undersized post player who can still hold his own down low and is an elite shot blocker, doesn’t look to score first although I would say i’m more of an impact player on offense because of my mid range game.

Larry Hughes with a Durant type body at 6’0 except I can shoot and don’t take bad shots and I can shut you down if your around my height and I’m extremely lanky which helps in the post I’m a left handed player but do everything else with my right handed so I can dribble with both hands going both ways pretty good and I’m 15 so I’m not finished growing.

Except a foot shorter. Believe me, I did not try to pattern my game after him, but his is the closest style I would compare to mine, especially with in his 3 chucking years. I wonder what some of these players would say about these comparisons if they saw us play, lol.

pass 1st PG…savvy, and a high IQ…fundamentally sound. solid mid range game. can post up smaller guards. solid defender. hustles and doesn’t back back down

Ron Artest would be the best comparison for me. I’m not as tall, but pound for pound, I’m pretty strong and tough. I do play tough, physical defense. I’m not a good jump shooter, but I got a good set shot. I can finish pretty strong, but nothing fancy. When I go to the hole, I almost always get fouled, but they never get called mainly because I play pickup.I’m the bum at the gym who actually likes to play defense at pickup games. Lol.

I would say (obviously poor mans) Allen Iverson. Built like a PG, but too much of a ballhog to actually be one. Alot of shooting, alot of getting in the lane and getting hit alot, some what streaky shooter.

I’m pretty big (fat) and I’m like 6’1" but I play like Arvydas Sabonis. Solid low post passer, rebounds, takes charges (or flops) and maybe hit a few jumpers.  I usually get tired fast though, kinda like why Sabonis never logged heavy minutes lol
