Im a huge thunder fan but would you you guys opinions. Their core of Westbrook, Harden, Durant, and Green is as good as anyone can ask for. There is a good chance they could get two top ten picks next year with the suns pick and their own. Its no secret there is a good selection of big men to choose from in next years draft to make their overall roster very solid. My question is though what do you think they do with their cap room? I was kind of disappointed when they didnt make a huge run at Paul Millsap but easily understood that 2010 could be very special. They choose not to over pay a guy this year and would like to nab a star next year but you do you think they’ll save the cap because their young players will demand a lot in the not to distance future. Also who do you think would be a perfect fit for them to grab in next years draft and free agency? Thanks

They should aim for a legit C in next years draft, and get a PF FA next year, Donatas Motiejunas would fit perfectly with the Thunder.

him also he would be a good fit too, as would Favors if he works on his post up game, they need a threat downlow.

They need a big man who can defend and be good offensively, but most importantly REBOUND. Neither Krstic and def. not Mullen are good rebounders. Derrick Favors would be perfect for them, since he’s a better defender and rebounder, and he can score off rebounds and basic moves effectively without the ball constantly in his hands.

donatas would be a great fit as its a 7 footer who can do multple things

    PG- Westbrook/Livingston
    Sg-Harden/ thabo
    Sf-Durant/Green
    Pf- Donatas/Green
C- Krsitic /Mullens/ who ever they can land in free agency,
even if they only get a solid center that is still a scary team

Motiejunas plays the same game as Durant, I dont see why you need 2 of them for. I think they should go for Ed Davis. He is going to fill up and at 240 pounds or so, he would be terrifyng. He will have a nicely developed game right around the hoop, add shotblocking and rebounding, and he doesn’t have that superstar ego. He will be an animal, he is one of those guys that really impacts the game without the ball in his hands and thats what they need. He could play center in a small lineup, Imagine the speed and Size of this Lineup. Westbrook 6’3 and strong Harden 6’5 and Strong Durant 6’10 skinny Green 6’8 and about average Davis 6’10 and about average. Image them on the fast break, and they wouldn’t have to give up too much size to do it.

Monroe and Aldrich are the two best fits:
Aldrich has nice touch in close to go with very nice size and long arms to give the team true size down low. If they do get a big man it doesnt have to be one with great offensive capabilities. He just has to play D get Boards and score a little. Cole can do that.
Monroe: has solid size and is a very good passing big man who has the court vision to distribute the ball to all of those scorers. Solid rebounder and d also.
