i really like Perry Jones…yes he didnt have a great freshman year but i really think he is one of those players who will be better in the NBA than college…6’10 and runs like a deer…athletic as hell and jumps out of the building, and a decent jumpshot…if he really does drop passed #5 id be surprised

I’d say Jeremy Lamb, i love his game….he should be doing big things in UConn this year w/ Walker out of the picture

Ironically enough, with that being said….i’d like to see him get drafted by the Bobcats…i mean, their best scorer is Corey Maggette….Lamb would excel on that team. Just wonder how a Walker/Lamb backcourt would translate in the NBA, it could be a force to mess with..or it could be a complete failure.

Andre Drummond. I love his outgoing personality and talent. He just needs to become more aggressive.

I really like Terrence Jones’ game. He is great for any style of play and can play both forward spots which is something I love in a player.

I like Thomas Robinson, I think he is almost a sure thing in the NBA. Not a sure star, although I do believe he has the potential to become one but I think his energy and rebounding will translate to the NBA. I believe no matter where he goes in the draft he is at least going have his niche of hustling and rebounding. He also is a freak athlete and has a lot of room to develop on offense and defense. Cant wait to see how much he has to bring to Kansas which will give us all a better projection of how he will fare as a pro.

     Austin Rivers

    Yeah give me negs

But the man can score in so many different ways.He is underrated to me and could easily be a top 10 scorer in the league and become an allstar

He would be good for the Suns and become the new franchis player for them if Nash leaves

Harrison Barnes. Just a complete player. He can shoot, dribble, and make the right pass. He is athletic and explosive. He has future star written all over him.

Will Barton. He just has a certain flair for the flashy that I think few have. Seems like he could develop into a really special player if he hones his team game and builds some muscle. Also a really big fan of Drummond’s athleticism and passing. Barnes has really started to grow on me as he seems to be a winner, all around game, and a clutch mentality. Teammate Kendall Marshall doesn’t have great athleticism, D, or jumpshot, but he has a truely great floor-general game. With the right defensive team, he could truely be a great starter.

Well, since your talking about the favourite player in this draft I’d go with Steven Adams but I’m not too sure that he will declare ’cause he’ll probably go to pitsburgh to imporve his game. So in that case I’d go wtih Austin Rivers. Ever since his first high-reel I saw I thought he had a really exicting yet effective playing style and it would be nice to see a superstar player come out of duke for once.

PS: Not including Kyrie Irving because he hasn’t played in the NBA yet.

Quincy Miller, To be that big and to have the ball skills he has are just uncanny, I think he will really do damage. He has a outrageous amount of confidence in his abilities

I’m a big UNC fan, so would say Harrison Barnes and Kendall Marshall. I’m also very interested in how Marquis Teague will develop as a pro.

My favorite player in this draft is Austin Rivers. He’s an incredibly natural scorer and a smooth all-around performer. He’s agressive, in-control, balanced, and has a great understanding of the little nuances of the game that take some players well into their pro careers to grasp.

His elbow is out on his shooting mechanics, but hey, if it aint broke, don’t fix it. He has a great stroke and he will learn a lot from Coach K this year about shot selection and moving without the ball. I expect numerous explosive scoring outbursts in the mid 30s and I expect really impressive shooting percentages.

I am a Clevelander and the one thing my Cavaliers are in desperate need of is scoring, so I would be thrilled to see the Cavs select at sixth or seventh overall and land Austin Rivers.

Another player who is currently not listed in this draft who I think will be win Big 12 POY as a freshman and will end being a one-and-doner is LeBryan Nash. He’s a fierce, powerful guard who is always in attack-mode, likes to bang, and has a great work ethic. I think he’s a lottery pick this year and I could see a team like New Orleans or Orlando losing a star like Dwight Howard or Chris Paul, getting a pick somewhere in the 10-12 range, and using it on LeBryan Nash.

Brad Beal. He’s not the 6-6 super athlete off guard that people imagine you have to be to be a top 5 pick and you can tell he doesn’t care. He just plays ball, and better than just about everyone in this class except for a couple monster names. Reminds me a LOT of Eric Gordon who I loved going into college also.

Brad Beal would be a nice pick for the Pistons if he is in that range

He could replace Hamilton and have a nice back court with him and Brandon Knight

Lots of choices for me…I’ll say Perry Jones or LeBryan Nash. Probably because they could have incredibly bright futures, or never gain focus and waste their potentials. I hope we see the former, because I like both of their games.

I also like Kabongo and Marshall because I generally cheer for true floor generals.

Gotta go with my guys from UConn;  Andre Drummond and Jeremy Lamb.  Both have a chance to be special in the league.  Drummond is one of the best big men I’ve ever seen come along, I think he’s a cross between Chris Webber and Amare Stoudemire.  Lamb at the very least will be a star defender in the league.  His length is unbelievable, and once he adds some strength, he will become a monster.

As far as 1st round prospects – Tony Wroten, that guy is a fantastic play-maker and has incredible size for the PG position, I think he could really be something special. I’d like to see him on the Raptors. He and DeRozan = frightening backcourt.

2nd rounders, im a HUGE fan of Bradford Burgess, he is really talented and overlooked. He’ll probably fall in the late 30’s to mid 40’s but hes got a Joey Graham like body but can actually shoot and make athletic plays in the paint
