BasterdInABasketParticipantIts crazy tho pretty soon there isnt even gonna be a center position in the nba. Most center prospects are more PFs.

bdiddy5115ParticipantI like him, but of the freshman SFs, I like the pro-potential of Nash/Miller/Thomas all slightly better at this moment. That’s not to say he could easily pass them up this year, but also feel like he won’t shine as brightly on UK’s semi-crowded perimeter (he’ll still have the opportunity to show off his skills).
The 1-6 on my SF list is all quite close, and the position is quite deep in general this year.

providencefriars1ParticipantKris Middleton is good but Terrence Jones is better, I would put Jones in front of Nash and Thomas too.

paradigmnParticipantput down the chronic dude…..I am sure you are a cool dude…and know basketball…so I am willing to give you the benefit of the doubt….but….JEREMY LAMB…not even in your top 5 shooting guards???? That is Doron Lamb and not Jeremy Lamb that you have as the 5th best SG I assume because of the D…..Please tell me this is a misprint on your part.

iguapops420ParticipantI wasn’t listing who I thought were the best at each position, I was doing my fav’s. Otherwise you probably wouldn’t have found Shannon Scott, Will Barton, Kendall Marshall, or Tyshawn Taylor on my lists. We just had a thread for the top 5 by position who we thought were the actual best so I posted favs. And no, I don’t smoke herb, that’s just a name I’ve held onto.

JoeWolf1Yeah, Iguapops420, Melo shouldn’t be on any top 5 list after last season. He proved his low bball IQ far outweighted any physical tools he had. Now, he may improve, but nothing I saw last year makes me think he is anything but a 4 year prospect.
edit: Ok, nevermind, if they are your favorites than that explains my comment.

iguapops420ParticipantThe thread said says YOUR early top 5. So I gave MY early top 5 favs. Are your top 5 favs not going to change throughout the season? I actually just misread the thread tite. And yeah, I agree Melo looked like pure garbage last year, but he also had an achilles injury nearly all year. It wasn’t so much low B-Ball IQ as it was never really having a chance to acclimate himself to the college game. I’m going off the Melo I saw in Hgh School who I still expect to see. He’s actually one of my 2012 sleepers.
