I know Amare or Carmelo arent being traded for Paul but Im still gonna ask.. you Can only have two… who would you take?

I personally would take the Paul-Amare Combo. I think they fit eachother’s games better than Amare-Anthony since Paul wouldnt take the amount of shots from Amare as Carmelo does. Plus we’ve already seen what he can do with an elite playmaker when he was with Nash in PHX. Advantage to Paul over Carmelo too on defense.

Paul-Amare no question.

Paul’s play of choice is the pick and roll/pick and pop and that was a majority of Amare’s offense in Phoenix.

Paul-Anothony is a good combination also, Anthony sets the screen and they get the switch and Anthony can easily go to work on whoever the guard he has on him.

Paul-Anthony. Give me a tall, defensive SG, Elton Brand type PF, and a defensive minded Center and championships will follow.

 Paul-Melo. They are on the court more than Amare. Paul is a true point with great passing ability, able to feed a great scorer in Melo. They also would make for a tough cover in a pick and roll situation. Obviously so would Paul Amare combo, but I’ll take Melo.
