I don’t need to even mention the record when I say the Raiders and Cleveland Browns have more wins than a basketball team. Did trading Vince Carter really have that big of an impact to a team?

The Nets took on a bunch of expiring contracts in order to be a player in the LeBron sweepstakes this summer. They also have had injuries to key players like Harris and Yi. The players aren’t meshing well and throw in bad coaching as well as just some bad luck. Even having said all that, 4-46 is ridiculous.

The last team that was as bad as the Nets that I can remember were the 92-93 and 93-94 Dallas Mavericks, they were absolutely attrocious, 24 combined wins in two seasons. Derek Harper, Jimmy Jackson (playing in only 28 games in 92-93 after he refused to sign with them), Jamal Mashburn, but in 94-95 they did get better with the addition of Jason Kidd by winning 36 games, I think Kidd also led the NBA in triple doubles in his rookie year.

The team sucks but have a good future with Lopez, CDR and Harris in tow. Worse case for them would be to get the number one pick. They would pretty much be forced to take John Wall but with Harris they need a power forward. They need to go with Cousins. I would be more happy with their team than I am with Minnesota’s

darkman97, how would getting the #1 pick be the worst case for the Nets? They could do whatever they wanted with it.

How much could the Brooklyn arena being pushed back hurt the Nets?
