jazzydParticipant8th?, 14th???
hell no
Xavier Henry is gonn be picked 2nd overall, obviously after john wall
and lance stephenson…..first round, prob in the 20’s, no way is he gonn be 2nd round0 - Posted on: Mon, 01/25/2010 - 5:00pm #250828
hotshotschampParticipantDoubt he even enters the draft
Look at his past 7-8 games, he forgot how to shoot the ball. That’s what his strength is supposed to be.
He needs another year after this in college, or he could slide a ways down the draft.http://sports.espn.go.com/ncb/player/profile?playerId=46115

quinceyhodgestru his shot has gone down but just because he should stay doesnt mean he will. plus i dont really think he should. his game hasnt changed his shot is just off. so he still has a nba game

JNixonParticipantI don’t see him being picked 2nd….How’d you come up with that? He’s in the middle of a shooting slump and you mention his stock rising? He should be more worried about his stock plummeting…

marcusfizer21ParticipantI am an X fan but 2nd pick is way too high for him… He’s a good top 10 but top 2 pick would be tough to assess… He’s going to be a good player in the NBA and I think he is semi-ready for the challenge… We just need to see how he does during these stretch of games ESPECIALLY when the tournament is just around the corner…

sheltwon3ParticipantKansas should go far in the tourney and if X can show up, it may land him a top 5 pick but the thing is a lot of team want some bigs even though someone shown on here that most teams are good at power forward. You can never have enough big men especially if you can get a legit center or center prospect. Even though i am skeptical about him , Monroe may go higher if he is a legit 6’11” in shoes.

tonyl33ParticipantTurner or Johnson is going to go 2nd overall. There is no question about that, they both too talented and look at what they are doing for their team.

lalailaParticipantyeah i wouldn’t take Henry with 2nd overall but for some discussion i can say that..am i only who thinks he really could be the second best guy in the draft by the year of 2015…man we are talking about Turner and Wesley they are terrific players but Xavier is close enough and his size is even way better being THREE OR FOUR years younger!

quinceyhodgesi dont see him as a number 2 pick and turner or johnson isnt a lock for number 2 because of the tourney. a player who is projected as a late lotto could move wayy up with a outstanding tournament

Toronto16ParticipantI really like Xavier, but he has nowhere near the upside of a guy like Evan Turner or Derrick Favors.
He’ll be picked in the lottery, but a late pick.

jazzydParticipantjust cause hes in a shootig slump doesnt mean hes gonn be a lettery pick, everyone goes thru that
wesley johnson is a good pick 3rd overall, but its gonna be xavier henry 2nd0 - Posted on: Tue, 01/26/2010 - 5:20pm #251019

JoeWolf1It’s not just that he is in a shooting slump, he has began to hang out around the 3 point line and just jack 3’s. He rarely showcases any mid range game or gets to the bucket. To his credit, during this slump, I think he has matured on the defensive end and is crashing the boards. I don’t think there is any chance he will be the #2 pick, but to get back in a position for him to be taken in the top 8 or 10 I think he needs to rethink his offensive strategy and utilize his size in his mid-range game and down on the block.
