    The NIT is what me and my family call “The Diet Tourny”…meaning, all the teams that are not good or entertaining enough play in this tourny so we never drink/watch it.

    I’d rather be in the NCAA tourny in some way than winning the NIT

    yeah, the whole experience of playing in the tournament is something that beats anything the nit offers. And I seriously doubt that whoever wins the nit is gonna go around boasting to teams that made the tournament and lost.

    I would rather lose in the first round. Even if you win the NIT your just the best of the rest.
