Mr. HookShotParticipantSpain and France would probably beat them, having more experience and all, especially in the international game.

Hype MachineLol, I haven’t laughed that hard in ages.
This Aussie 8-man rotation would destroy that US Select team if they had all their players.
PG: Exum, Delly
SG: Mills
SF: Simmons, Ingles
PF: Baynes, Maker
C: Bogut

he_gets_bucketsParticipantDestroy is a stretch.. outside of Simmons I don’t theres a guy on our Aussie team whose miles ahead of any of the guys on that US select team.. that US select team is a lot deeper as well. Ingles is a fringe NBA player, Bogut has slowed down considerably the last 2 years, Baynes has always been pretty average, and his percentages went down across the board after jumping ship from San Antonio, Exum has shown nothing at the pro level yet, has literally been the worst pick and roll player in the league by every metric, including the eye test, whilst fouling and turning the ball over at exuberant rates and is coming off major injury. The only guys I have confidence in on the Aussie side, this coming Olympics are Mills and Simmons, maybe Maker but I’d be more inclined to think he’s a contributor in 2020 then 2016. That US Select Team would at least push us, if not beat us just as many times as we beat them.

McDunkinI think they would lose 1 to 3 games (devastating by USA standards) due to lack of maturity and chemistry alone. Teams like Spain, Argentina, etc that have far more experience and have been on this stage before would definitely give them fits.

IndianaBasketballParticipantC: Myles Turner and Jahlil Okafor
PF: Jabari Parker and Aaron Gordon (or Julius Randle)
SF: Stanley Johnson (or Justice Winslow) and Doug McDermott (43% 3PT)
SG: CJ McCollum, Rodney Hood and Devin Booker
PG: DeAngelo Russell, Victor Oladipo and Marcus Smart
Coaches: Greg Popovich, Ime Udoka and Jay Wright
Other than Russell, McCollum, Hood and Booker all of these players have some form of USA basketball experience. With Popovich as coach, I think Silver is a realistic goal.

IndianaBasketballParticipantOh yea most definitely. Just saying they have at least been apart of the USA basketball program, have some experience, understand the team culture, etc. Some having played together already. Hopefully, that’d help chemistry.
