BogDon_KryptParticipantI say yes because the East is so bad. What seed do you think they’d be? I would guess the East would look like this:
1) Bulls
2) Raptors
3) Heat
4) Wizards
5) Charlotte
6) Cavs
7) 76ers
8) Celtics
I think Wroten would benefit and average 20 PPG (although he’ll probably average that anyways this year as the sixers have no other options).

juves4783Participantare you basing this off the first 6-8 games of the season? because cavs aren’t even in the top 8 and i’m pretty sure that team is better than the 76ers…

BogDon_KryptParticipantNo why woukd I ever base anything of the first few games of the nba season? This is a whole year thing. You know the Cavs will be fine

Rip255Juves – you offer nothing to this forum except negativity. You intentionally do not answer the question, and rather choose to ridicule the OP.
He’s asking if the sixers would make the playoffs with LBJ, and your response draws back to a small sample size. Using your logic, we couldn’t comment on anything NBA related because the season has only just started.
You may not realise it, but you’re trolling. No-one appreciates your pointless rebuttals. Add something to the conversation, start your own, or sit quiet. Just dont be the first to post with such a rubbish contribution in the future.

juves4783Participantthat is true. i think this topic is pretty much impossible to answer based on the sample size. all the teams made offseason moves and you want people to give an opinion based on what? the first few games…

HitsterParticipantInteresting question and I cannot decide on an answer yet. With MCW fit then it could be interesting.
Last year minus Kobe the Lakers were only 5 or 6 wins better off than Philly so I’d been wondering if you take Kobe away this year are the rest of the Lakers much better than the 76ers?
Also flip Kobe for LBJ and how much better would the Lakers be?

IndianaBasketballParticipantAs the 76ers roster currently stands, I think LBJ would have a hard time getting them into the playoffs.
They obviously wouldn’t be better than the Bulls, Raptors, Heat, Wizards and Hornets. They also wouldn’t be better than the Hawks and Nets. That means they’d be competing with the Celtics, Pistons and Bucks for the 8th seed.

barbabodomParticipantIf LBJ is the only change then Cavs lineup would be Irving / Waiters / Marion / Love / Varejão, which is good enough for the East.

ExumInfernoParticipant76ers have not shooting, so James would be crowded by defenders.
But an athletic lineup of MCW, Wroten, James, McDaniels and Noel would be wild to watch.
If Shved hits outside shots, James and his 76ers would be in the playoffs.
One other part, if James is a 76er then his people would follow like M Miller, J Jones, S Marion, which would help too.
