Is there a worse position in the NBA over the last 5 years than starting shooting guard on the Sacramento Kings. I have no evidence to support it but I get the feeling if you analyzed every starting position on every team over the last 5 years this would come up as the least productive spot in the NBA

Just saw that game. McLemore with 2 clutch turnovers killed the Kings.

Pretty sure the Pelicans are alergic to having a decent small forward. That’s been a black hole of basketball talent since AD got there.

Yea, Pelicans SF spot and also Clippers SF spot. Last year, the Pelicans were starting Dante Cunningham and Alonzo Gee while the Clippers were starting Mbah a Moute and Wes Johnson. Yikessssss.

We started guys like Ish Smith, Canaan, Hollister Thompson, Nik Stauskas and Jakaar Sampson at PG and SG, we have to start Gerald Henderson and Sergio Rodriguez this year, it’s an absolutely horrible group of Guards (I like Bayless/Henderson and Rodriguez as Backups)

The rub, is TJ McConnell looked like the best G on the entire roster and he’s not very good at all…

I really want them to address the PG spot in the Draft (praying for Dennis Smith) and I’d like to trade for a SG like Harris/Murray out in Denver

I’ll throw out the OKC "Whatever Andre Roberson plays" spot (SF this  year, SG in the past). It’s all Thabo and Roberson from 2009 onwards.

Not as bad as some of others, but pretty awful for a perennial title contender. Center on a lot of teams, I imagine.

Lakers SF generally been bad for a while too. (old) MWP, Wes Johnson, David Ebanks, Radmanovic, Luke Walton…

For the record, the Kangz have been McLemore, Marcus Thorton, John Salmons, Francisco Garcia, Tyreke Evans… Pretty bad overall since Kevin Martin left. I guess that’s what happens when you really suck at a position so you spend a lottery pick on that position but turns out that guy sucks too?

It’s not a long term issue like some of the teams mentioned above, but it’s crazy to think a 56 win team started a well-aged Luis Scola at PF last year. This year it’s rookie Pascal Siakam, and the Raps look like they could win 50+ again.

I just can’t believe that the 76ers neglect to add any guard of value in the offseason
