WizardofOzParticipantThe Bobcats will not be one of the top 5 worst teams in the NBA. So you’re saying they will be worse than the Pacers, Warriors, Nets, and Raptors? I just don’t get it.

llperezim not sure about charlotte, but i dont see them getting muc better where as i see other teams improving. Is dj augustine ready to start? Is tyson chandler gonna stay healthy? When Stephen Jackson and gerald Wallace are your two best players, im not too high on them. They wouldnt have come close to making the playoffs in the west. Either way, im not real strong on them being bad and i could easily see why people wouldnt inlcude them.

Malik-UniversalParticipant1.T-Land (toronto)
2.O-Town (GS Warriors)
3.Detroit City (hate to do it to my pistons)
4. Land of thee Wolves (minny)
5.Kings0 - Posted on: Fri, 07/09/2010 - 3:57pm #350804
EGbball3ParticipantHow are the kings in some of your lists? They got last years ROY and cousins could be a beast in his first year. I see them a little below 500. Worst five in my mind are raptors, twolves, nets, warriors, and pacers.

JNixonParticipantI think Charlotte is going to suck next year too Llperez. There situation reminds me of Philly’s this past season. And athletic and overachieving playoff team that loses their PG , and then plays bad the next season. They seem shaky to me in all honesty

Charlie SheenParticipantRaptors
T’Wolves
Cavaliers
Nets
Warriorsbut the Wizards wont make the playoffs look at their division
1. Heat
2. Magic
3. Hawks
4. Bobcats
5. Wizards0 - Posted on: Fri, 07/09/2010 - 7:48pm #350968

llperezthanks iggy, im getting killed on that one. BUt they barely made the playoffs and then got dumped on their heads in the first round. Not much of a playoff team. If augustine and gerald henderson step up and tyson stays healthy, then maybe they could make another playoff run. But i think people are overrating them on here. Other teams around the league are getting better and charlotte is throwin money at tyrus thomas like that lets them sit pretty.

ItsVictorOladipoParticipantYep I think Washington will blow once again:
1. Raptors
2. T Wolves
3. Wizards
4. Warriors (Yes they added Lee but they lost Morrow and still should be one of the worst if not the absolute worst defensive teams in the league)
5. Cavs0 - Posted on: Sat, 07/10/2010 - 8:30am #351213
stanford hoopsBecause the kings just aren’t that good and they are in the west. Yeah they have Evans and cousins who’s very talented but isn’t Duncan or shaq. He has to adjust. As a team they just aren’t that goodevans and cousins won’t be able to beat teams with more better players. Can’t just look at it individually. Portland okc lakers clippers Utah Houston hornets Memphis Philly chi Miami knicks bobcats bos Atlanta orl cavs bucks spurs suns Etc are all better

BasketBalAllanParticipantI understand where you are coming from, but I think the Kings will be vastly improved this year. Maybe it’s just because as a Kings fan I need to have some hope, but I think that the Kings will be able to put up a record just shy of .500 as well. They may not have changed very much to other fans in the NBA who do not follow the Kings very closely, but if you really stop and think about what they have done from the trade deadline last season until now you start to see that they may improve more than most people think. What were the Kings largest weaknesses over the last two to three years? Defense, injuries, not having a single person who can play at the 5, chemistry, coaching, fans losing hope, trying to build around a one dimensional player. The Kings have put forth an effort to solve all of those problems. By trading for Sammy and drafting Cousins and Whiteside they now have a post presence, even if it is an unproven one it is still an improvement. Almost all of the key players on the Kings are returning, they now have had at least half a season and the summer to practice playing well together as a team. I believe they have a solid coach who seems more than willing to stick up for his team and also put a player in his place when he gets out of line. The Kings can now actually put a lineup on the floor that you could say are all average to good defensive players, Tyreke, Garcia, Donte, Thompson, and Dalembert. They now have Tyreke with a year under his belt, if he can develop his jump shot, like he is currently trying to do, he will be even more dominant this coming year. No one can predict injuries, just look at Garcia’s freak weight accident last year, but if they can stay healthy then they can put forth a fairly descent rotation and give Kings Fans more hope than they had had in the last few years.

OhCanada-ParticipantGod I hope you guys are right and the Raps finish dead last securing a Top 3 pick. This draft has alot of good freshmans and landing Barnes,Kanter or Perry would be awesome.

nl2niceParticipantdamn im surprised how many people don’t have the wizards consistently. wall is good but they will be one of the worst teams if not the worst besides the raptors especially if they decide to trade arenas mid season or something. minnesota will suck again too. i say the cavs and clippers since the clippers are always in the lottery. and why are people saying charlotte? i say they barely make the playoffs but they wont be top 5 trash. all they lost was ray felton and he isn’t even their best player. the heat, magic, celtics, bulls, hawks, and bucks are automatic. the other two spots are up in the air
