    1. nate robinson is a talent and all, but we’ve seen all his dunks. time to hang ’em up.
    2. shannon brown and gerald wallace….why did you even show up? there’s going to be like 30 better dunks in the alley-oop fest called the all-star game tomorrow.
    3. i now understand why they do the fan voting in the dunk off. it would be pretty embarrassing to give a slam dunk crown to someone that scored 80 points….TOTAL!

pretty weak. we need lebron, superman, ai and j-smoove. shit, i’d even take vc at 31.

I think MJ in his 40s would have done better than Shannon Brown and Gerald Wallace, maybe possibly win the contest.

    Mike Taylor
    Lebron James
    Russell Westbrook/Andre Iguodala

this would be the contest i would like.

I was disappointed when lebron pulled his name out. If he would have done it maybe some other high profile player would have participated.

its our fault that the contest isnt that good anymore…we have seen so many amazing dunks that nothing excites us anymore. just think if these dunks were done years ago. they would be very very good dunks. but since we have seen just about everything its boring now. now we need dunks who can do things some of us have never seen. we need maryland native james white in it to take off 2 feet beyong the free throw line or lebron to get in it

I think Sonny Weems of the Toronto Raptors is a great dunker too. He’s not known by most basketball fans, but he’s a great athlete and dunker. But Derozan would probably always represent the Raptors so…

James White has to stay in the NBA longer than 10 days, and then he’ll be a good choice lol.

Iguodala and Lebron would be good, and Josh Smith too

yeah i know..but since all the best dunkers in the nba wont compete we have to start looking outside the nba or be subjected to what we witnessed last night

I don’t get why people always say..oh they should have Lebron, Kobe, Vince, etc.. dunk. They will not dunk. Because some of them already did it. It’s up to the new and young guys to come up with some thing new and exciting. I thought Shannon Brown and Demar was going to do that..but man…they were lame. No creativity at all!

i keep hearing people talk about these guys cant create but what dunk hasnt been done?..what dunk would ya’ll do?..im pretty sure most of you have never dunked in youre life and other prob cant do anything more then the basic dunk. thinking up dunks that will wow people is not as easy as non dunkers like to make it. but im curious what are some dunks that you think they should have done?

go check out TFB on youtube for some new dunks…under both legs, cartwheels, 720s etc…there’s actually plenty…james white is getting older too. wish we could have seen him in the SDC 5 years ago…LBJ is not a good contest dunker btw

trust me james white can still do the same dunks now that he did back then..hes still in his prime..hes like 28. and yeah ive seen a couple of guys on youtube but most who do those dunks jump higher then these nba guys. they arent nearly as good as far as players but they do jump higher so you cant expect the nba guys to be able to do those dunks.

maybe you’re right, but i just turned 29 and i cant do what i could at 21-25 and i’m pretty active…i actually think NBAers can do a lot of those dunks but they dont have the desire/time to just practice dunking
