andxxxParticipantThis is a little old, but the New York Jets players and coaches have been investigated for harassing a female reporter, so I’m wondering what u guys think of women in locker rooms? Should they already know the deal?

TheWizardParticipantWhat reporter would not expect harassment when going into a mens lockeroom where there are men with no clothes on and their is a women reporter who calls HERSELF the “hottest reporter in mexico?”
I am all about respect for women, but she should have used some of her smarts to figure out that this was a bad idea.

llperezi think women should be allowed to go into the locker room and be treated professionally, but they need to dress appropriate. If you dress seductive and revealing while in a mens locker room, expect to hear stuff. I think that whole issue is no big deal really.

IndianaBasketballParticipantI’ve heard she’s really flirtatious and one report about her letting the players carry her off of the field during the super bowl. She does reports on who has the biggest biceps and stuff. I think she’s asking to get hit on.

abriggs06ParticipantWell, anytime I hear about things like this, whether its in entertainment or everyday life, I turn to the wisdom of Dave Chappelle… Seriously, check this out:
Im not making light of the situation, but someone should tell their daughters, nieces, sisters, women in general to BE MINDFUL of what they are doing!

bobbybParticipantif she didnt look that way, would she have that job? You cant have your cake and eat it too, you can use your sex appeal to get the job then be mad when a group of men react. Especially huge super athletic testoterone filled men.

sheltwon3ParticipantI think it lacks wisdom for women to be going into the locker room with naked dudes. Most jocks tend to be overly aggressive in this regard and that is asking for trouble. Even if she was not as attractive, some dude may have hit on her just because. I hate when people fill like they can put themselves in this kind of places and act like people are going to act differently than most people would generally expect. I think it would have been a bigger story if they didnt act the way the did because I would have been huh.
I mean men should act more professional but locker room tends to be where dudes act a fool and do crazy stuff that women should not be a part of anyway.
I would not have done any of that because I know better but a lot of those dudes are wild and maybe you need that personallity to be in football where you are constantly trying almost injure someone or take hard hits on the regular. You have to almost be crazy or on the edge to want to do that.

sheltwon3ParticipantAlso they same thing would happen if a attractive male would go into a all girls sport team locker room of a sport that is of aggressive nature(could not think of sport and most of WNBA are said to be girl on girl type). Women do this dudes with muscles and all that all the time but there are no dudes crying about it because the dude would tend to like it or not say nothing because he would be ridiculed. This double standard sucks because it would appear a lot of these women only like attention when they feel they are in control and the minute they lose that control, it is sexual harassment.

llperezi think if they are gonna let women in the locker room it has to be after the men have had time to get dressed and the woman should be not allowed in if dressed overly provocative.

doubledribblerParticipantAnymore pictures of her?
Anyways, I don’t think anyone should be allowed in the locker room. Let the guys get dressed. If it’s a win let them celebrate in peace, if it’s a loss let the drop their heads in peace. I don’t think anyone in the locker room is a good idea that is not affiliated with the team. Especially a woman with a bunch of men, just like a man shouldn’t be there with a bunch of women. It’s basically like any of us guys just walking into the womens’ locker room at the Y and just hanging out while girls are putting on their clothes…Don’t get any ideas though and if you do, don’t blame me.

NarcParticipantNow I’m not saying it was just for her to get “harassed” (notice the quotations because this chick could be lying) but honestly, she’s being thrust into a room full of testosterone…What does she expect for them to exchange recipes on how to bake cookies??? Of course the players would say something. I’m going to assume the same thing may happen if a male reporter would be allowed into a WNBA locker room or something like that.
And who’s to say that she didn’t want this to happen huh? To the gentleman who posted the Dave Chappelle clip, that’s usually how it goes. They dress in a certain way to attract attention and when it becomes too much some women complain.

HotSnotParticipantWhen male reporters are allowed into female changing rooms after lets say… womens volleyball, then I’ll fully support women in men’s changing rooms.
If a women wants to be taken seriously as a reporter why dress in clothing so tight it looks painted on? If she wants to be treated professionally then she should act the part… otherwise she’s just another piece of A$$ looking for attention, not based on her merits as an intelligent woman but purely based on her looks. If she chooses to draw attention to herself in that manner, she deserves exactly what she’s asking for… She wanted to be noticed and she was.
