omphalosParticipantIs it worth watching on League Pass? Can only watch one game a day and tossing up between NOH v Portland and this game.

Malik-UniversalParticipantim watchin this game to, and the wizards have NO disipline and NO chemistry and NO energy what so ever
things ive noticed
-blatche is a jacker and moves slow with the ball in his hands
-mcgee has no post game at all, and i cant believe pll were saying that he was developing one after he got cut from the usa team, he has showed nothing but block shots.
-arenas is fat as hell
-wall needs to slow down and make his lay ups… already has missed two easy lay ins

marcusfizer21ParticipantLooks like Derrick Rose had the better of John Wall… My question was why did Flip sat out John Wall in the first 6 mins in the 4th?

WizardofOzParticipantGil is a little out of shape because of his ankle injury at the beginning of the season. They said he gained 15 POUNDS in 3 weeks during the injury. Right now, he is working is way into shape and he should be in tip-top shape soon.
Gil just tore it up from 3!! He has a terrible game last night, missing a bunch of open 3’s, but it looks like he hs his stroke back. And so far in the season, he has been playing pretty good defense, something he never did before.

Da1potParticipantWall needs to be taking more shots and the team overall needs to improve their shot selection. Blatche, Thornton, Nick Young and Arenas have very poor shot selection. It doesn’t matter how many guys they have that put the ball in the bucket, what good does it make if your whole team sucks at defense…..
People need to stop confusing Mcgee as a good defender just because he can block shots…. He is in my mind a mediocre defender- especially on rotations and the pick and roll. Also, he gets scored on very easily if somone posts him up despite his length and shotblocking ability. His lack of upper body strength hurts him in this area alot, as people just drive their body into his chest, draw the foul and get an and 1. Blatche is possibly even worse, he can make a highlight block, too, but he puts no effort in on defense. Unlike McGee, I think Blatche actually has the i.q. to be a good defender he just needs to put in the consistent effort.
The Wizards are my team, but unless the chemistry and overall effort improves Wall’s likely fantastic rookie season will be canceled out by another mediocre season. They have the potential to be really good, but could end up being really bad again- their schedule just gets tougher when they start playing the majority of their division games, against Miami ,Atlanta, Charlotte and Orlando.
