    WIzards fire Scott Brooks. Early candidates are: Wes Unseld Jr, Sam Cassell, Becky Hammon, Kenny Atkinson, Mark Jackson, and Robert Pack. I would go with Sam Cassell.

    wow! the nba woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning..
    1..cp3 might be out for awhile
    2.kawhi might be out for awhile
    3.stan van gone in new orleans
    4.scottie b gone in dc

    and its still only 11:00 am!!

    Something at work today for me happened right after this sort of stuff happened, so crazy. I think….Sam Cassell gets a crack or Kenny Atkinson could be in the mix. the Wiz have to do something though. They are under sooo much pressure.

    This team was a train wreck defensively the past few seasons. Not sure if it was more due to coaching or personnel but it’s definitely something they should look to address with this hire. Jackson has his detractors for sure, and probably for good reason. But one thing he has a proven track record of doing is improving a team defensively. Whether or not that makes him the best candidate for the job I’m not sure.

    Scott Morrison is also a candidate. I think I would probably go with him over Cassell, I think Morrison is the next Nick Nurse.

    Chris Fleming just interviewed as well. Looks like they want someone who has not been a head coach in NBA yet, but does have international coaching experience, and is defensive minded. Honestly looks like this is going to come down to Morrison and Fleming.

    Finalists announced today Jamahl Mosely, Darvin Ham, Charles Lee, Wes Unseld. Out of those names I think Mosely gets job.

    Phil Handy was interviewed this week for the job, which is weird when it was reported they had already started 2nd interviews with their finalists.
