Wilson Chandler loves playing for D’Antoni and wants to come back he could get the MLE on a long term deal they could also get a S&T with Denver sending back Landry Fields and another piece

IMO, for him as a player, this would be a dumb move.. In Denver, he has a change to turn into a number 1 or 2 option and get a nice fat pay check…

why in the world would they do a sign and trade if Wilson is so eager to come back to NY, thus losing even more depth to what is already probably close to the weakest bench in the league

I wanted him to be available to the Kings. He would be an excellent pick up during the off season.

If that deal would ever go down, they’d lose some serious potential in Landry Fields. I don’t know about this move, doesn’t seem too smart.

Wilson Chandler will never be a #1 or #2 on a winning team.

#1 or #2 he’d be perfect to replace Landry Fields and the Sign n Trade would be good because they can have his bird rights back give him the 1 year tender then sign CP3 and re-sign him to a better deal plus Denver could match the offer but if New York can send back Landry Fields for cheap and say Bill Walker Denver would take that as they’re losing JR Smith to free agency and Afflalo and Gallinari are the future 2/3 combo

I like Chandler coming back because Mike D know what he is getting and he play well off the bench and can play 3 positions.  Felton may even come back after his contract is up who knows.  Felton will realize it was more fun playing in New York in Mike D’s system than on a lot of these other teams.  Billups contract will be up and Knicks should be able to get Felton for Mid level or 6 million.

I realize all the rumours, but I don’t think CP3 wants to be in that situation down there. CP3 is a pure point guard, he’s not a score first point guard at all. He needs more than just two people to pass it to. Lol would they really take on another big contract like that? If they have no depth now, signing CP3 will only make it worse. Unless they plan on converting  him into mostly a jump shooter.

Id welcome this move, no question..

tbh, as a Knick fan i always liked Chandler, and never too much liked Fields..dont really see what everyone else does..

I’d make this trade quicker than you can say IMayBeWrongButIDoubtIt

Why are they evern reporting this. Chandler is on the floor right now for Denver, he just hit two free throws and missed a 3. At least have some respect and wait until the series is over, (not the original thread maker but the original reporter).

Now that the series is over do you think there is a chance Denver doesnt sign his tender making him a UFA
