Will he be a Gilbert Arenas type steal in the 2nd round? Are teams making a mistake if he makes it out the 1st?

He’s not Agent 0, but I do think Willie Warren can be a 15 ppg scorer off someones bench in a year or 2. As long as his coach accepts that he’s not a PG at all, isn’t a good defender, and limits his scoring role to a complimentary role (which will happen in the NBA) he’ll be just fine lighting up the scoreboard off the bench.

I agree he is a shooting guard not a PG. I like him coming off screens firing and taking guys off the dribble. I do think he will brake defenses down at times and make the right passes to open teamates too. He will fill in a point guard at times depending where he goes. Could be a sleeper to me and score a lot closer to 18 down the road.

He has the desire, I remember a story where he wouldn’t take a picture with Kobe Bryant because he was going to be his competition in the future. My only concern is he might be to cocky and confident, but he has the will and the skill to become a Ben Gordon type 6th man in this league.

I like the Ben Gordon comparision… Can’t sum his game up anymore. He maybe actually a better dribbler than Gordon which will help him create more himself and possible others. Gordon is just good off spot up and coming of screens with and without the ball. Warren can break people off the dribble which makes him more dangerous. He could be steal…
