BasketBalAllanParticipantWill the Cavs officially set the record for the most consecutive losses, from a single season, in a row? We shall know by Saturday at this time. They have now lost a franchise record 22 in a row, just one shy of the 97/98 Nuggets and the 95/96 Grizzlies record of 23 losses in a row. Ironically the team that they next face, and would have to beat to stave off the humiliation of being associated with the aforementioned teams, is the Grizzlies. If the Cavs do not survive that game they then have to travel back home to face the Blazers in order to keep from owning one of the most embarrassing NBA records of all time.
So; will they set the record and what will their final consecutive loss total be?

dmo21ParticipantThe Raptors are coming after that record too, they just snapped their continuos 3 point streak so why not go the other way and go with continuos losses..

butidonthavemoneyI gave you a point for using a semicolon, even though it has no business being in that particular sentence.
This site needs more semicolons.

BasketBalAllanParticipantI find the use of semicolons strangely gratifying.
Entropy: I was thinking that same thing when looking at the Cavs schedule.

EntropyParticipantWashington @ Cleveland will be interesting. At least 1 streak will be broken.

marcusfizer21ParticipantThe thing about it is no team in the NBA would want to be THE TEAM to be able to end that slump… That would be a freak of embarassment…

Tha_PrinceParticipantI think they have the talent to beat this record.
This team would even lose games in the D-League

Real Talk Real TrophiesParticipantI don’t even think Samardo Samuels could make a D-league team roster and he has been playin for the cavs. lol

PureshooterParticipantI think they set the record. I’ll pick their home game on February 9 against the Pistons to be the next win, which would set the streak at 25. The Pistons will have played against San Antonio the night before while the Cavaliers will be coming off a day’s rest.
