valentineFun to watch because of Blake (just like back when they had Miles and Qrich) but they still suck, Eric can get 30 Blake can get the same and they still will end up getting blown out. . You name a reason why teams don’t win games and 9 times out of 10 the clippers do it. Said it in the beginning of the season and say it again…SAME OLE CLIPPERS. Even the Knicks has decided to leave the basement but when they left they must have shut the door so the Clippers would stay down there.

sheltwon3ParticipantI agree, It almost appears that the Clippers are cursed because even when they have talent, they find ways to lose.

IndianaBasketballParticipantI don’t understand the Clippers at all.
The 76ers started playing better defensively, but that third quarter was just pathetic. I didn’t even bother to watch the fourth quarter because I knew where the game was headed. I’ve seen it all too many times.

BasterdInABasketParticipantAs long as sterling is running the team then NO. Baron Davis is the perfect example of why this franchise has been the joke of all sports for a long time… Overpay for a fat lazy PG on the downside of his career whose more intersted in being Mr Hollywood than being a basketball player. And now sterling is heckling his $12M plus player… The word dysfunction defines them.

QUINCEY HODGES1You can’t even blame it all on Sterling because the Clippers have had good players. Looking at this roster most people on here thought the clippers would be better and some said they would challenge for a playoff spot, so the blame can’t all fall on the owner. It cant all fall on the Coach either because with each coach the clippers look the same so that leaves the players to take the brunt of the blame. Yea some are exciting but they all make dumb decision’s play bad team or man defense. I’m sure Laker’s management is planning for when Gordan and Griffin become free agents. Wont even have to move:)

sammybuckeye13ParticipantGet a center (Tyson Chandler) and swingman (Shane Battier) who will really bare down and play D and see how that works out.

When a team is this bad for this long the blame has to go all right to the top. Its the owners job to find the GM or coach thats gonna put in the right system and draft and sign the right players. Who has been their last and only coach in their history to have a +500 win pct? Larry Brown… a pretty damn good coach. Quit hiring these bums like Del Negro, Dunleavy (only an idiot like sterling would let him coach/gm a team for that long) and chris ford. Now whos the GM? Some guy who was brought up in the clippers organization and a former actor!! Itll never end…

RObin PadillaParticipantclippers need to invest on a good gm/coach… del negro is not a bad coach though.. blake is a special player only a matter of time before he turns things around…. and how can they win when they got players like foye, cook, gomes, butler who gets plenty of minutes.. if those players were on a different team they would be rotting on the bench.. donald sterling needs to sell but he doesnt want to cuz hes making a profit unlike other losing teams..

JRdaFilipinoParticipantThe Clippers in my opinion actually have one of the more talented starting lineups in the NBA with the exception of the small forward position. There depth could be better, especially at the 4 spot (when Brian Cook is your back up 4 you have a problem). The bench is also VERY talented, yet equally very inexperienved (Guys like Bledsoe, Aminu, Jordans). Randy Foye, although injuries have been holding him back thus far, could develop into a really great 6th man. And like someone already stated, Del Negro is a serviceable coach. If Kaman comes back healthy, Foye can regain full form and as long as the young guns continue to develop I wouldn’t be surprised if the Clippers started making some noise in the latter half of the season. If not in wins, then at least not getting blown out especially to sub-par teams.

NYK2010ParticipantStop giving away players unless its Baron Davis because of his contract.
If Kaman was healthy this would be a better team, they have too many young players.
I agree this team is might be cursed, well at least they’ll get a decent draft pick.

RafterParticipantThe Clippers have their bright spots, but overall, they don’t perform, they need a solid PG, Davis is out of shape and isn’t the floor general to take this team forward.
They won’t be cursed forever, i’m sure a player will come along and turn the Clippers franchise around.

hiphopismylifeParticipantBaron Davis needs to go asap. They should still be better than they are, but I really think this is a group that could be a surprise team by next season. They have young players leading them who probably need that boost of confidence that they can win. This seems like the kind of group that could keep winning if they would just get off to a solid start, and not start out on a losing streak.
