Will he be an all star this year?

    My prediction: No

    The guards will be:
    Arenas
    Wade
    Rondo
    Harris
    Johnson
Iguodala(Unless hes F, but he still takes up the final Spot)

    Next year i think..
    Your thoughts?

yes. I wouldn’t put Harris, Rondo, or Iguodala over Rose. Rose will take over the Bulls next year and be a star.

I think he or Rondo will make it as a backup to A.I.

That’s true, A.I still has fan support, but I think he can get over Rondo and Harris for sure as well as Nelson. He is the only legit All-Star on his team while Nelson has 2-3 more and so does Rondo. Harris has a potential star in Lopez.

If A.I. doesnt play in the east, not only will D. Rose be an all-star, but he’ll start (alongside wade)

    You heard it here first

His main competition at the PG is Rondo. If Arenas bounces back (which I think he will) he has his spot locked up, but Rondo,Rose, and Harris are the ones that will be fighting for the spots. I think Rose will get it honestly.

He has too much competition at the G spot IMO.
Arenas will get in, Iverson in the East may get in..
Rondo and Harris have better chance IMO.
Rondo will be great on a good team, Chicago wont be that good, and neitehr will NJ but Harris will have better numbers.
IMO Westbrook has a better chance of being an All star .

That is not true at all…Westbrook has literally a zero percent chance of making the all-star team next year.

He will start if Iverson doesnt play in the East. He has alot of fan support and most people will vote for him and Wade to start for the East.

youre logic doesnt make sense as far as harris……harris has a potenial all star in lopez?..rose has much better players around him then harris so by youre logic of he will make it because he doesnt has as much help as j.nelson doesnt make sense since harris has alot less talent around him. as far as fan support im not sure but i think he didnt have as many votes as some other pg..i may be wrong though..also im not sure why no one is discounting j.nelson..im not sure if any of ya’ll actually watched him play last year because if you did you wouldnt list all these other guards over him..the guy scored passed shot well didnt turn it over alot while leading one of the top teams in the east to a high ranking. so you think if he puts up the same or better numbers this year (which he should) while leading his team to a top 2 finish by all star break, that he wont make it?..what has nba history shown us about players who put up all star numbers on top teams?..that they tend to get in over players who are on worst teams who put up better numbers. And its funny how people are so quick to say rose will be sooo much better then rondo this year even though rondo ate his lunch while causing him to turn the ball over many many times and lead his team past them. Then on top of that everyone forgets how young rondo is.

I dont think he has 0 chance, but he ahs tougher competition

remember, for the all-star game the G position can be both SG and PG

    So, Westbrook is competing with..
Kobe, CP3, Brandon Roy, Chauncy Billups, T-Mac, and Deron Williams

    West Guars:
    Kobe
    Roy
    Paul
    D-Will
    Westbrook
    Billups or Parker

Will be the guards in the all star game, Westbrook will get hte last spot i think, T-Mac wont play enough games,

for those who have read my posts, you know I’m a huge Rose fan and have speculated he may be the best PG of all time….however, i DONT think he will be an All Star this year…i will give him 1-2 more years before he is an all star due to loosing Ben Gordon in CHI and also because how deep PGs are in the Eastern Conference

westbrook will have allstar ability but he wont make it because of the numbers game..there are too many good guards in the west parker will make it dwill will make it and paul will make it…i really doubt that they will keep 4 pgs

I think we will see a different, more mature and more experienced Derrick Rose… He will make it to the All-Star this year… I will be surprised if he doesn’t… One thing is for sure is that come Rookie-Sophomore game, he will bounce back after a so-so performance…^^

nope wont make it…nelson is hitting his stride and will have a better year then last year in which he made the allstar team..same case for devin harris. boston will be winning and rondo will be better so id count him in also…and if gilbert stays healthy( hes starting at point for the wizards) he is on the team…nope no rose on the allstar team this year in my opinion
