earlier in the year when they werent doing so well alot of knicks fans were saying its a given he will leave because cleveland isnt good enough to get to the championship game. if you have been watching them so far you know they are capable of getting there and its becoming more likely that he resigns. they will also trade or sign another good player to help him out this or next year. i think the knicks fans need to really start to realize that the chances of him coming to newyork are getting lower and lower the more the cavs continue to win.

I think lebron will stay if the Cavs bring in someone like Jamison or Muprhy, or someone very similiar.

Bottom line. If cavs don’t win the championship this year if they do or don’t bring in someone to help them, he will not resign. You saw it last year when they swept the first two series but lost the Eastern Conference Championship round to Magic. I thought they had all the pieces last year to make it to the finals but they just didn’t click in the end. Maybe had some match up problems but the Magic outplayed them. If the same thing happens this year to the cavs. Bye LEBRON. See you team up with dwade/bosh.

It is hard to say for sure, but can you imagine the feeling of knowing that everywhere he goes he is revered? He is loved not only because he is a sports star, but because he is THEIR sports star, a homegrown product like no other, If he resigns he will probably never pay for a meal, never get a ticket, never get arrested for anything, he will walk the streets in complete safety draped in jewels, his owner will take him to dinner with WARREN BUFFET!, He will be in on EVERY personnel decision and coaching hire. If LeBron were to stay in Cleveland he would be the most powerful singular athlete to an organization/city/state since Jordan. In NY he among stars one of many, in LA the same. In Cleveland he would be the one thing he was born to be…KING JAMES! That has to be unbelievably hard to walk away from. He is staying, one title in Cleveland is like four in LA, one title and old men will die happy, citizens will name their children after him. 1 title and the curse of Cleveland is lifted, and James the homegrown king may be the only one who could actualize that, and he knows that all too well.

yeah for awhile but what has the past showed us about sports stars?…after they are labeled king and sports god’s the media try to tear them down. happens all the time. they tried with the jordan gambling thing they are doing it now with the tiger woods stuff. theres nothing the media loves more then tearing down the fans heroes

I can’t find it right now but i swear in an interview he said he would consider signing an extension if the cavs got jamison, murphy, amare, or someone like that.

Even if they don’t get someone like that i still think their is a 75% he stays.

He will opt out just for the story. I’m a huge Lebron fan but he is a bit of a media whore.

Knick fans don’t jump, their is so much to live for.

Although it would be cool from a marketing stand point if he went to New York, I seriously think he is going to re sign with Cleveland.

Im thinking theres like a 90% chance he stays. Think about it. He wants to be considered the greatest of all-time. Jordan played for the Bulls and only the Bulls. Kobe played for the Lakers and only the Lakers. He knows the value of being apart of one franchise for his entire career. Plus, as many of you stated, the Cavs will be willing to do whatever it takes to keep him. He is the hometown hero and without LeBron in CLE, Cleveland enters as state of demise becoming the 2nd Detroit.

I would love to have Lebron, but I am not putting all my eggs in one basket for Lebron. I would love for the Knicks to get Dwyane Wade and resign David Lee. I would settle for Joe Johnson and resign David Lee. I would rather have a deep team than one star studded player in Lebron.

I really dont understand why knicks fans think they are an option for him anyway yes he likes playing there but i think he likes playing in NY as a visitor I think he is gonna stay in cleveland actually, the knicks arent good he wants to win a championship and he has a better chance of doing that by staying in cleveland. And why are people talking about marketing Lebron is a superstar he is marketable for any team he goes to he doesnt have to be in NY to be marketable. For gods sake hes in cleveland and everyone knows who he is he sells jerseys and he has commercials and he plays on national TV all the time who needs NY and their annoying fans and media and their high taxes. Just my opinion.
