Meditated StatesParticipantHe is experienced and a leader. He is the best on the ball defender in the draft and a above average athelete. He shoots the 3 at a high percentage even though his shot is ugly over 40 percent from 3. He can go toe to toe with any guard in the college ranks too. I think he can run an NBA team as a starter, or be a more than above average back up. What do you think?

mamadouParticipantback up for life.

coolkids123ParticipantI can see this guy as a legitimate number two PG in the NBA. But, for right now, he is best used as a garbage time defensive stopper.

Meditated StatesParticipantIf he has a good shooting guard next to him he can be consistent from three. He just is not 5 or 6 threes in a game type player. He is underrated, and would have gone sooner if he came out early.

llperezI would like to see Collison do well in the league. He is a guy that can defend, push the ball, and get into the lane. He has also been in many big games and brings a lot of experience for being a rookie. However, his outside shot looks like he hoisting a medicine ball. It is not pretty and if he allows defenders to play off him, then he will be a liability on offense. I think he will prove to be a solid back-up, but not an everyday starter. Ben Howland players have done better then expected in the league because they all play defense and are mentlly tough. (Hollins,Farmar, Afflalo, Love, Westbrook, Mbah a Moute).

D HampParticipantCollison could start on my team any day of the week. His problem is he entered the draft a year too late. Russell Westbrook took his shine last season and Jrue Holiday did it this season. But Collision is a floor leader and a lockdown defender. Whenever you lead your team to three straight final fours there isn’t too much you can say. Even the best team that are super talented don’t always do that.
D Hamp…..the greatest basketball mind in the world. Next to Hubie Brown anyway.

sheltwon3ParticipantI like Collison and but truth is being that this draft is packed with points he will fall. I hope the Lakers pick him up though. Fisher is getting old and Farmar can’t defend quick point guards that well.

billykParticipantCollison will make an excellent back-up pg for a playoff team, I dont think he will be a starter in the NBA but he will be a solid player…..

RickyRubio9ParticipantI see him as a Mario Chalmers type player. Starter because lack of depth and no competetion who will surprise some people. As you said he has a game similiar to him. Good 3 Point Shooter and defensive minded. Although there might not be a D-Wade alongside him.

sheltwon3ParticipantI like him as a future starter for the Lakers because Farmar is showing he is a career back up who cant defend.

ryan27ParticipantI think it would be hilarious if the Lakers took him, he would give them 3 back-up pgs with Fisher (not the same anymore) and Farmar, and another backup who can play some point in Shannon Brown

OrangeJuiceJonesParticipantAnd for the foreseeable future. He’s a legit talent, and he’ll be one of the best point guards in the league if he can cut down on his turnovers.

sheltwon3ParticipantWow everything I said about Collison was true cept New Orleans grabbed him before Lakers had a chance but if they could have gotten him, it would have been a good pick up. Also we see now that the Lakers dropped Farmar like a bad habit. It is funny looking at my old stuff and seeing how on point I was about a player. I knew that he would fall because of a deep point guard draft because he should have gone higher.
