His stats for this season are surprisingly good:

    15.1ppg / 6.5reb / 2.5ast / 1stl / 43%fg / 35% 3pt fg in just 29 minutes of action.

We all knew he had this capability coming into the league. The concern with him was his ability to bulk up. He has steadily improved over the course of his career in terms of his pysiche. He’s still listed at 175 pounds in his nba.com profile but looks a little more bulkier now and his body has matured quite a bit.

His contract of 3 years 15 million looks like an absolute steal. He’s a two way player and could contribute on any team. What a valuable player on a very valuable contract.

Nice player but I’ll take Jae Crowder’s contract over it for what Crowder provides and how much he costs.

Though if we really want to get technical I think Towns’ deal is probably the best. Could be a 20-10 guy next year on a rookie deal but I guess that shouldn’t really count.

I told myself since the Celtics signed Crowder to that 5 year 35 million contract, that it was the best contract during this past offseason. I knew he was gonna outperform that contract. Danny Ainge is a brilliant talent evaluator, his eye for talent coupled with his roster construction is top notch. Gotta give credit where it’s due, he’s very intelligent. You also have Isiah making 8 million a season and he got him for a mild first round draft pick. Isiah is looking like a cheaper Russell Westbrook the way he’s been playing this season.

Ainge gets my vote for executive of the year, it ain’t close to be honest.

Barton should be a candidate for MIP and 6th Man of the Year. Glad to see him playing so well, and I think his contract is actually about 11 million over 3 years.

On a sidenote. Could you imagine the Blazers if they had kept most of their guys from a couple years ago?

A starting lineup of Lillard, McCollum, Batum, Aldridge and Lopez, with Barton coming off the bench would be really balanced and scary. And those six players would combine for a salary of about $55 million, so Portland would still have salary room to play with and round off the rest of their roster.

That’d be a very scary lineup. It sucks that the Blazers lost Aldridge in free agency. At least with Lopez, they could’ve found a replacement. But once they knew Aldridge was leaving, they probably held back on the idea of replacing Lopez and instead went on a mini rebuild.

It always seems like the Blazers are fantasizing about the "what ifs" in terms of their past teams. At one point it was "What if Brandon Roy and Oden had stayed healthy. That would’ve been an amazing lineup."

They’ve had a string of bad luck aside from beating the Rockets a couple seasons ago in the playoffs. But they always find a way to bounce back. They have a good management group.

Actually the most underpaid NBA contract is probably Curry. Currently on the third year of his 4 year/44M contract.

It’s 4 years/65 mil. Still a good price for a premium center with his skills

hands down, just because they won a chip, forget that he’s leading the league in scoring on the team with the best record since…….

I do appreciate what Barton is doing though but theyre not wining too much right now
