AdamJCallejaParticipantSo Wiggins is taking the Lebron route. Last year he pulled out a couple weeks before and this year Lavine tried to convince him to join but he has no interest (I respect it, focusing on his game) but the guy is 20 years old at the moment, if he’s gonna participate, it should be now. Aside from Gordon, I feel that Wiggins is the only young guy in the league that can compete with Lavine, guy has Gerald Green bounce, I believe if he practiced a week in advance he’s capable of completing most of Gordon’s dunks. As a rising young star, it would be awesome for him to put on a show one of these Saturday night.

DukeDaSquadParticipantHes not taking the Lebron route because unlike Lebron, he didnt say that he would be in it. People are just expecting him to because he is athletic but maybe he would just rather relax and hang out

OhCanada-ParticipantIf its not happening on Toronto its probably not happening. I still don’t understand why though. I know for a fact that he dreamed about being in the contest and being the next Vince Carter for years. Why not compete?

HitsterParticipantBeing teammates Wiggins and Lavine would have discussed what they might do in a dunk contest so it could be a mutual decision to leave it to Zach especially if Wiggins knows Zach is likely to win.
It allows Zach to have the spotlight all to himself and especially as Wiggins is one of the T-Wolves top stars and Zach is perhaps a bit in his shadow there and with the All Star game being in Canada the fans may have rooted more for Wiggins than Lavine.
Maybe Wiggins will go in it one year if Zach isn’t in it as it would be fun to see him in there once.
