AdamJCallejaParticipantWiggins just dropped 27 on 9/16 shooting in his first meeting with Lebron and the Cavs. That’s what I like to see.

nath09ParticipantIt was almost as if he had that game penciled in as a breakout game.

ChewyParticipantdid Lebron guard him during the game?

OhCanada-ParticipantThey threw alot of different looks at him. He did get a bucket on Lebron on a quick post move.
This game showed his full potential skill set. His post game, his face up game from 15 feet will be deadly once he tightens his handle and gets stronger. Wiggins really improved his handle but it needs to get a lot better for him to be effective attacking. He also has trouble finishing with contact and looks like a toothpick.
He definitely relies on his athletisism and made a few plays only a handful of people in the world could make.

ExumInfernoParticipantThat Wiggins went 3 for 3 on 3pointers was big, plus a steal and a block is important too, so his shooting and his hustle stats are on the up.
His previous two games combined, only 10 points, so this was a big turnaround. Not a career-high, that might be 29 points.

chaParticipantHowever, if this game showed anything is that his jumpshot is improved over the course of the NBA season. He can hit open threes all day. The Cavs, including LeBron, did not play him tight. Granted, all I saw were the highlights of his field goals but looking at all of those, he was either open a 3 or uncontested at the rim. He still has yet to show a tight handle and an ability to create off the dribble consistently. First game against the Lakers and Kobe, even with his advanced age, shut him down. Stripping him on ball around three times, at one point in two back to back possessions. One thing I do admire about the kid is that defensively, he’s already good. Plus, the jumpshot as I’ve mentioned before has gotten smoother, no more flailing to the sides. He looks like a hard worker and if he hasn’t already, looks to remove the stigma of him not playing aggressively.

MopgrassParticipantHe has to be happy to be in Minnesota as a 1st or 2nd option instead of Cleveland as a 4th it 5th option.

kanuflengParticipantThey may have lost but definitely a great game for Wiggins. He had back to back 5 pts from previous 2 games so this game was a bounce back one. He showed what kind of a player he can really be. Midrange, he was posting, driving to the basket and doing pull up jumpers. He had one quick post up against LeBron and a nice post then spin against Irving. Miller cannot do anything to stop him as Mike had 3 fouls in the 1st few minutes of the game. But what I really like with Wiggins in this game was that he was not intimidated by LeBron. Saunders recently called him out for not putting much effort and I hope he continues to put this kind of aggressiveness every game.

xJumpManxParticipantWovles were -25 when Wiggins was in the game last night and-27 with Bennett in the game. I like Wiggins alot but he has miles to go.

PhogifyParticipantWhat the hell even is the point of you bringing up +/- statistics to judge an individual performance when obviously the players around Wiggins suck and they are playing against one of the most talented team in the league.

EndlessknightParticipantHow can you blame the players around him when he had the 2nd worse +/- on the team? If the problem was the players around him should his +/- be among the best on the team?
