Toronto16ParticipantAll time leader in techs, he made “Ball Don’t Lie” mainstream, and now, he has retired one game before the playoffs.
I salute you sir.

llperezI never liked him. I’ve seen him do his ape shit crazy thing a few times after a foul is called on him and the replays show he hacked the guy. As a ref, when you go back and review that, how do you not hold a grudge.

Sewok15ParticipantRasheed is the nicest guy around off the court but when he was on the court he wanted to win. He had his issues with the refs but everyone has. Sheed was one of the best stretch 4’s of all time because of what he brought defensively. He could have been an all time great if he would have been more assertive on the block offensively but was still a very valuable guy to have. Being from Philly I have always had a soft spot for Sheed and will be sad to see him go.

TyroberParticipantLoved his game. His attitude is what made him so good, but it is also what held him back. A 7footer than can bang in the post and then shoot 3s while being a great defensive big on the other side of the ball? There was no doubt he was full of talent, but I just wish he would have had a slightly better attitude.

alingeParticipantWith Adam Silver becoming commissioner next year, the assistant commissioner job is open, so I’m sure everyone will join me in saying Sheed should be the next assistant commissioner.

GrandmamaParticipantI’ve always loved Rasheed. I guarantee he’d be fun as hell to hang out with. And of course he’d be rolling some of the stickiest up.

Leonard WashingtonParticipantI actually met him last year in Chapel Hill when Harrison Barnes and Co. beat the breaks off of NC State. He was a pretty cool guy and laid back. He was basically the total opposite of what he is on the court.
Definitely one of my favorite UNC players of all-time. Hell I liked him even when him and Damon Stoudemire were burning dro while playing on the Blazers.
