Something that keeps me up at night (well….not literally) is why Tweety Carter at Baylor has been getting no love from scouts. His numbers: 17 ppg, 6 assists (and only 2 TO’s), 2 stls, and 3 rebounds on 45 % from the field and 40% on 3’s. Those numbers are unbelievably good. You can’t convince me this man isn’t an NBA player in some way. He’s extremely good. He’s the same player that has the most points in the history of High School basketball at 7,457!!

I wouldn’t say those numbers are unbelievably good. Honestly, I don’t know much about him but 7,457 career points? Damn! How many games do they play in high school? If he played 35 a year for 4 years that would mean he averaged 53.3 points per game for his career. Is he, dare I say, ‘special’ and went for 8 years?

Those numbers are at an elite level for a college player. He does everything at a high level statistically, and when you watch him play he looks like every bit the player that can play NBA basketball. He might not have high upside, but he can be a contributor. He’s putting up those stats in the Big 12, which is arguably the best conference in college basketball.

And I think he started playing varsity basketball in 7th grade, which is still breath-taking.

Breathtaking? Now those numbers are unbelievable! Like I said, I don’t know much about the kid so I can’t really comment on his scouting report though I’m sure someone on here can.

Tweety actually started playing varsity basketball in the 7th grade, which would explain his ridiculous career points amount because his 7th-8th grade stats were included in the total.

He is a very good player, but he is 5 foot 11, does not have a 3 ball that is consistent, and his FG% is not very high, that is why he is getting no love.

He’s shooting 45% from the field and 40% from 3. Those are above average percentages…
