cbeckermanParticipantit is still basketball and believe me many wnba players could compete with h.s men players and college players. on a relevant note.
I was surprised to hear about margo dydeks passing at 37 today. I thought she was a very attractive woman not lauren jackson but who is. she also had game. I guess one could say she was a taller matt bullard with more D. she was very popular in utah sometimes being double booked for appearances. I guess you will find the opportunity to finally look up at someone r.i.p and best wishes to her family no pun intended but it is a huge loss to the sporting world.

6-6-6-lolParticipantWomen sports = fail
My friend who played hockey in h.s. played against the women’s olympic team (the one that win’s gold) and crushed them.
Most women’s sports are a joke. Thumb me down but it’s true.

mikeyvthedonParticipantThat could be one reason. Also, pretty much all topics are posted in here anyway. If you want to post about the WNBA, this may not be the sight for you. Either do it in the NBA section, as that encompasses the WNBA, or do so in the "Off-Topic" section, which is where I would suggest posting most anything non-NBA or mens basketball prospect related. I know women players are awesome, and I have a lot of respect for them as basketball players, but I do not think you will get great reception on here talking WNBA basketball. Might want to find a different sight, or possibly get the first female ever to post on here. That might not be the best idea, as many guys on here would probably flee in fear.
Still, I was sad to hear about the death of Margo Dydek, RIP. She is the tallest women’s basketball player I have ever seen, and I know she had a pretty nice career, as well as being a former #1 draft pick. I was a little surprised that was not a more dominant player, but she was definitely a force at times, and she will definitely be missed. Very sad story 🙁
Reading what you said though, you sound fairly insincere, especially having to bring up where you rated her on the scale of attractiveness. You should be incredibly proud of yourself. Now I know this definitely belonged in the off-topic section. You might want to get in touch with a poster named Beno. You guys would have a lot to talk about, and maybe you would start your own board, away from here.

draftnikParticipantMaybe it could be the little known fact that WOMEN CAN’T DUNK!!! No one wants to watch a bunch of lay-ups from "professionals". If I want to do that, I’d just watch film from the ’50s. Other than Candace Parker, there’s no one of interest to follow in the WNBA. Wake me up when these players get 40-inch verts and start posterizing each other.

butidonthavemoneyDo people really only watch basketball because of the dunks?
I respect the WNBA and enjoy watching women’s basketball from time to time, though clearly there isn’t going to be a serious discussion about the subject here. You can’t mention women in any manner on the site without a bunch of horny losers posting gifs and being misogynistic.
No wonder MandyLee left…

TRC1991Participant3 things
1) margo dydek was not attractive…yuck bro lol
2) wnba is f’ing useless

TheLastWordParticipantThere are a few exceptions but they dress like men and look like men on crack. Given that 90% of sports viewers are men, this is not a recipe for ratings success. Lack of dunks hurts as well.

paradigmnParticipantAs a fan of all sports, men and woman included, I can’t make an arguement for watching womens sports(except volleyball, those chics are BLAZING HOT), however as far as watching women sports for the competition and not azz and bobbies then women tennis when the WILLIAMS sisters play can be fun to watch at times.

aamir543ParticipantIn the 09-10 college basketball season, I kept saying that the Coneticut womens teams would beat the UConn mens team. And yes i watched their games. I feel that a player like Lauren Jackson, or Diana Tarasi, could beat 30-50% of mens players within 2 inches of their height.
