The Scare Crow RisesParticipantWe see Carmelo making the Free Agent tour, he’s been to Chicago, Dallas, Houston and Los Angeles, with a dash of some New York interest on the side…But when is LeBron going to weigh his options and see what’s out there for himself? Or is LBJ pretty much dead set on resigning with Miami? Maybe he’s even considering going back Cleveland and doesn’t have to meet up with any other suitors?
Either way, has anyone heard any news from the LeBron camp, it’s almost too quiet IMO

xJumpManxParticipantHe will end up in Miami or Cleveland. I can not see him going out to LA and there is better chance I will be wearing a Rockets jersey to play with Howard before Lebron would play with him. As for Phoenix not even sure why they bothered to try.

The Scare Crow RisesParticipantI don’t think Phoenix has the pieces to lure James, but if LA were to sign LeBron they’d have have Nash/Kobe/LeBron/Randle and potentially a resigned Gasol, they can patch work some shooters around them IMO, they just haven’t even talked to James yet and it’s getting very close to the 2nd week of July and most other free agents must want to sign new contracts

Ghost01ParticipantSo the 48 win team with young players doesn’t have the personnel to get James, but the 27 win team with old players does? LeBron isn’t stupid.

morestealsthanscoresParticipantI think it’s quiet because most of the world expects him to stay. It’s not like the circus last time round when everyone knew he’d leave, we just weren’t sure where.

doubledribblerParticipantPhoenix isn’t a bad situation at all. They have plenty of shooting and some nice young pieces. One of my big issues would be holding onto Bledsoe AND Dragic though. If I’m Lebron the only basketball reason that scares me from going there is the owner. I still remember when he was selling picks left and right and it seemed like all of them turned into gold.

JCliff24ParticipantLebron is letting his agent do the work. His agent met with multiple teams yesterday. It is said that three finalists will meet with James personally. I personally feel that if James leaves Miami and doesn’t return to Cleveland he will forever have that "Championship chaser" title hanging over his head. He will be known as someone who always bolted when things got tough. Miami or Cleveland. That’s it.

WITNESS2014ParticipantI still see Miami or Cleveland. Love already said he would 100% sign long term in Cleveland if Lebron is there. The Cavs would have trouble getting Love though. I think playing in Cleveland would open his title window for a few more years with all the young talent they have. They potentially have 3 first round picks in next years draft as well. Right now I see 80/20 favoring Miami over Cleveland. His agent met with Mavs, Suns, Rockets, and Cavs in Cleveland.

NihochuParticipantMaybe he has learned from his mistakes. The whole ‘Decision" put a lot of negative attention on him and his future teammates at the time, so maybe he’s trying to keep it on the down low to not affect his future teammates (whoever that may be) negatively or himself

he is down in Brazil for the World Cup and will no be back until ends.
For now his agent is making the rounds to the teams Lebron likes and is reporting their long and short term plans back.

GrandmamaParticipantQuiet? It’s all over ESPN every single day…. And obviously he’s going to keep his decision close to the vest. He did the same thing 4 years ago. Not even people closest to him knew where he was going. It’s going to be Miami or Cleveland. With a possible dark horse in New York if they don’t resign Carmelo. Basically b/c of Phil Jackson. But I’m pretty sure he will resign with Miami.

OhCanada-ParticipantLast time he was a free agent it was a media frenzy and people got upset over "the decision" and constant media coverage. This time he keeps it quiet and people are still upset. Lebron has to be the most overhated athlete ever.
