valentineI’ve been reading that people think he can be an all star this year or Cleveland’s leading scorer….. This guy is not that good….
And I can’t believe Gilbert didn’t want to get rid of Hickson for Amare. I heard about this in February when they were trying to get him…. I didn’t think it was true but now I am starting to think it is. Hickson is no more than a guy who can score 13-14 ppg and get 6-8 rebounds on a 20 win team.

sheltwon3ParticipantI will not say that Hickson is going to be an All Star but he looks good enough for 18 point 9 rebounds if given minutes and being a top 3 go to guy. There are not many guys on this team that can score other than Mo Williams, Jamison, and maybe Sessions and Sessions will probably be on the bench so Hickson should get touches and with both Williams and Sessions being decent passers. He will get a lot of opportunities to score. Also Scott is said to want to speed the game up and have the point guards to do it.

td8118ParticipantHes a pretty good player….While i do think that he will put up 16-17 ppg this year, it will more be a product of Clevelands lack of talent and scorers…..If you remember, one of Lebrons main disagreements with the staff was the lack of playing time for Hickson in the playoffs….He was a player that greatly helped Lebron with his athletic ability and finishing ability….I think he has all star ability

ShekiruBoomParticipantI think hes overrated because he was the only young guy with potential when LeBron was with the Cavs. They were hoping that he would be the second option to LeBron so they were reluctant to trade him. Its not like the guy has amazing potential but hes young and I think he will get to like 15ppg 7 reb level having the more focused role on offense this year

Malik-UniversalParticipanthickson was very overrated…. hes an average player for now, but he does have a high ceiling

Stojakovicfor3ParticipantI think he’ll average 13ppg 6.5rpg 1.5bpg next season as the Cavs starting PF

sammybuckeye13ParticipantHe has the size and built of a true PF (6-9/242), he’s bouncy and athletic but has a very refined skill set and is always in control. Shoots 54% from the floor and has great upside. Still young and shows the will to dominate, which is rare.

JNixonParticipantAt best, he’s a 14 or 15 ppg and 8 rpg player. He should be around that next year with Cleveland’s lack of talent, but Hickson has potential. He’s more of a 3rd or 4th option ideally though.

FDAPOWow, do Cleveland fans get it??? You are never right, I am tired of hearing the same shit every year…
Cleveland fans thought you were going to win it all last year…. Some didn’t even think there was a point in having a playoffs….
Now you guys would rather keep Hickson over Amare and think he will be good next season. I get thumbs downed for calling it like it is again….. Oh well, I guess I just have to wait until February or so to start saying i told ya so

Scottoant93ParticipantCavs are desperately trying to find a player to replace Lebron and give thier fans hope. Hickson is an alright, if he develops could be a marginal all-star 18pts 10 reb. at some point but nothing at lebron’s level.

FDAPOHickson is NOT an all star. He’s could be a good player off the bench one day….. He will only be starter on a losing team.
14 ppg…. his FG% will go down for sure…. could go down a lot. I don’t think he’s much of a rebounder and he’s an overrated shot blocker.
Cleveland wins 20.

Mr.Knick 32ParticipantHickson is alright. He’s a solid player but for Cleveland’s sake? He needs to be a all star
Hickson was the reason they didn’t get Amare Stoudemire last season…

JNixonParticipantHe was the reason for that lol. I would’ve shipped him in a heartbeat to get Amare.
