UncledrewParticipantI’ve heard a few people talking about guys like Malachi Richardson, Wade Baldwin and Thon Maker. Guys who have impressed at individual workouts and are potential candidates to be selected a few spots higher than their initial projection on draft day. So the question is who is the guy who isn’t being talked about or under the radar that can move into the lottery? And 5 years from now who would have been worth a lottery pick but got selected alot lower? (ala Draymond Green). My personal pick is Patrick McCaw the 6’7 sophomore guard out of UNLV. After watching his interview I was really impressed with his maturity and he really seemed focused on improving his game. At 6’7 he has good defensive instincts and a confident offensive game. With his ability to play point or off the ball he looks like a potential 2 way player in the league. To me I wouldn’t be surprised if a team sneaks and grabs him in one of the first 14 picks and if not it also wouldn’t surprise me if 5 years from now he’s one of the best 10 players from the draft. So who you got?

BiggysmallsParticipantI guess I don’t know if he’s a lottery pick but I like Demetrius Jackson a lot.
Think he’s going to be at worst, a really good backup PG and probably a starter after a couple years. Think he could take the Kyle Lowry track where he comes off the bench for a few years and then emerges as a really good player.
He’s a bulldog defensively, he’s athletic, strong, can shoot and has an improving floor game. He’s shown he can play off the ball, so its easy to see him fitting in pretty much with any group and he’s got a little bit of nasty to him. There’s an edgyness to him that I kind of like. He doenst seem like a huge d-bag, but he’s got a little badass to him.
I’ve been riding the "Kris Dunn to Minny" train since college bball started and I wouldn’t be super shocked if Jackson ends up being an equal or better player 8 years from now.

Evan_MilbergParticipantFor me it’s Brice Johnson. This site has him falling into the 20s, but I really think he’s a lottery talent with a lot of upside despite being a senior. He has a level of grit and competitiveness that I just don’t see in any other PF in this draft. On top of that, he’s got an NBA-ready mid-range game, a desire to rebound that’s uncommon among young players, and high defensive upside. I would personally pick him as high as 9th in this draft.
